The Fall of Papal Rome: The Islamic Invasion.
The Three Woes.
The previous trumpets caused the political fall of Rome by the Barbarian powers.
The next three would see Rome conquered by religious powers.
These religious attacks are seen are more destructive because they have the potential
to change belief in God in a negative way and are referred to as the three woes.
Since the seventh trumpet results in a positive event for the saints, we must assume that the description of the last three
trumpets as three woes is mainly from the perspective of the wicked.
