Symbols
Revelation 18 introduces Jesus as the judge and the one who punishes His enemies. Here we see the punishment of the human systems that were controlled by Satan. It specifically shows the punishment of the financial, religious and political systems. These people are cut off on the Great Day of Atonement. The symbols used involve the judgment from the sanctuary.
This prophecy is an enlargement of the seven last plagues in Revelation 16. But Revelation 18 only deals with the fall of Babylon in the last three plagues. The political Babylon falls in the fifth plague and the religious section falls in the sixth plague.

The Glorious Light (verse 1).
» And after these things ... After the vision of Revelation 17, John was shown even greater detail about the period of the judgment of Babylon.
Let us compare the angel in this verse to the Three Angels of Revelation 14: 6-11. This angel is seen "coming down from heaven" (to earth), while the three angles "fly in the midst of heaven" with world wide messages. Since this angel is seen coming closer to the earth prophetically suggest the greater importance or urgency of his message.
» ... the earth was lightened. This angel is giving a final warning to mankind just before God's judgment falls on Babylon.
And the Lord said, I have pardoned according to your word: But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord. Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not listened to my voice; Surely they shall not see the land which I swore to their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it: (Numbers 14: 20-23)
Israel rebelled against God in the exodus and they were judged and abandoned in the wilderness. End time Babylon is on the final exodus to another Promised land and they are also rebelling in another spiritual wilderness.

The Parables of Jesus: The Kingdom of God is A Garden
The Kingdom of God began when the Sower planted the Seed at Gethsemane. The Seed died and emerged underground and became a great tree. Each little seed it produced also died and grew up under the darkness of the earth, watered by the Holy Spirit. Then, under the light of this final angel, they emerged from underneath the earth to grow up into the light of the final efforts of evangelism.

Babylon Has Fallen. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every unclean spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. (Revelation 18: 2)
This verse appears to be a repetition of the Second Angel's message (Revelation 14: 8), except in this instance, the angel cries "mightily with a strong voice", while with the first time (Second Angel's Message) there is no reference to a "loud voice". Prophetically, this may correspond to:

• The First Angel's Message (Revelation 14: 6-7). It was started at the time the Great Awakening, which occurred worldwide after 1798, and before 1844. This Angel declares his message "with a loud voice" (it was world wide). The third Angel's message is also given with a loud voice. (Revelation 14: 9-11)
• The Second Angel's Message. It was given for the first time just prior to 1844, when the people in the Millerite Movement left and were driven out of the "apostate" Protestant churches of the time. The Millerites recognized the relationship between spiritual Babylon and the apostate religious system. This "message" was not "with a loud voice" because it was not world wide at this time. It was localized in this movement, in New England.

  A Center of Demonic Activity

  
  » The Second Angel's Message Repeated. It would be repeated globally with a strong voice by the angel in Revelation 17, at the end time. This is after or during the Mark of the Beast Issue when Spiritual Babylon will persecute God's people globally.
• The Third Angel's Message. It warns against the mark of the beast. Although the mark of the beast is not being given, the message of the third angel is now being preached to make people aware of the issues to come.

The Last Three Plagues. Babylon has "spiritually fallen". This connects with the fourth, fifth and sixth day of creation. and it also connects with the fifth, sixth and seventh plagues, which fall on Babylon. Items were made to fill the creation on these days but Babylon is destroying the creation. The first four plagues show the punishment of the people. The last three show the destruction of Babylon. Why does Babylon fall?

5. Habitation of Devils. Sea and air creatures were created on the fifth day. Babylon is a dwelling place of demons who had fallen from the heavens and now becomes a center of demonic deception.
6. Darkness. The sun, moon and stars were created to give light to a planet that had temporarily lost the right to the physical light of God. By the time evil had totally engulfed the world, it would even extinguish this little light. Physical, moral and spiritual darkness would engulf the world because of the activities of the unclean creatures. Although Babylon claimed to have religious authority, she did not have the light and purity of God. Instead, she corrupted the nations with her immorality.

   Immorality • Corruption • Blood

   
   "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet." (Revelation 16: 13)
   
   "Hold of every unclean spirit, ... unclean ... bird ... for all nations". This covers all of the rebellious creation. Specifically the rebellious angels and how they corrupt the creatures and systems of earth.
   • Unclean Spirits. The invisible spiritual world. They are unclean because they are out of place. They behave contrary to their created nature.
   • Unclean Birds. These fallen angels no longer act as the truthful messengers of God between humanity and heaven. They are vultures of deception, not doves of peace. If we combine the unclean birds with the frogs of Revelation 16, we get a picture of the corruption of the creatures made on the fifth day.
   • Nations (beasts). The political kingdoms of earth and man.
   Like rebellious Israel, Babylon is pictured as still being in the wilderness. At the borders of the Promised Land, it is found unfit to enter. Spiritual Babylon has forgotten and rejected the call for God's people to be holy and different, distinct from the world.
7. She Corrupted the Nations, Governments and Businesses (verse 3). Animals and man were created on the sixth day. Babylon corrupted all that was created on this day. She even promoted economic activity on the seventh.
   "For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies." (Revelation 18: 3)
   Note who is involved with Babylon and compare it with the persecutors in Revelation 13: 16-17:
   1. All Nations and Kingdoms. Represents the corporate, nationwide participation.
   2. Kings of the Earth. The leaders of the individual nations.
   3. Merchants of the Earth. The world economy (see Revelation 13: 16-17). People cannot buy or sell without the Mark of the Beast. This requires the cooperation of merchants. If there was ever a time for civil disobedience, it was then.
      » No Sabbath Rest. Even this is a reference to the continuous trade. At the borders of the Promised Land, at the very gates of heaven, the merchants with their wares are congregating at the gates on Sabbath to make the people sin. They have no Sabbath rest because of their constant economic activity. They corrupted the seventh day with their merchandizing while they excluded the righteous from the economy.
      A City Of Merchants Took Israel Captive. He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and carried it into a land of traffic; he set it in a city of merchants. (Ezekiel 17: 4)
      Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, was the great eagle that allowed them to be captured.
      
      Multiplied Prostitution. Thou hast moreover multiplied thy fornication in the land of Canaan unto Chaldea; and yet thou wast not satisfied therewith. (Ezekiel 16: 29)

Merchants Of The Earth. Daniel 11: 41-43 refer to the same time period when the Beast shall gain control over the economies of the world for his purpose. He controls the treasures of Egypt. The economies of the land of slavery to sin. As we are in the process of fulfilling these prophecies, notice what has happened.

• European Union. The papacy gave birth to this economic union in the early 1940's. They believed that they could more easily persuade the nations to form an economic union than a religious one. Now that the union is reputable and a thing to be desired, we find a larger plan to unite armies and laws. Within these laws the church has received the power it intends to use. The laws establish Sunday as the only day of rest and recognizes the "Christian roots" of Europe. Since 2004, the Christian heritage argument has been used to preserve the symbols of Christianity while they are slowly outlawing the symbols of other religions.
• American Economy. The economies of most nations rest on trade with the United States
• Africa. Following the tsunami disaster in 2004, the western nations have introduced a plan in which they will help to reduce the economic poverty of Africa and other poor nations if they can control their governments.

A Tale Of Three Cities All try to reach heaven. Babel. They build a tower to reach heaven so that they can avoid the judgments of God. Babylon the Great. Their sins are not removed and they pile up to Heaven like a garbage dump. Israel. The people of God allow Him to remove their pile of sins on the global day of atonement. God rewards them with a city that reaches 1500 miles into the heavens.

Babylon Falls
In the view of God, Babylon has already fallen. So what remains is her punishment. This moral and spiritual fall has devastating physical consequences. So the warning goes out to escape the burning city.

Last Exodus. A Call to Run Out of Babylon
"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, so that you are not partakers of her sins, and that you do not receive her plagues" (Revelation 18: 4)
Here the Angel gives a warning to God's people, to come out of Babylon before the last three plagues fall on her.

1. The angel of light (Revelation 18: 1) comes just before the "Darkness" of the fifth Plague (Revelation 16: 10-11). When spiritual truth (light) is rejected, darkness follows.
2. Her Sins. Babylon not only got into idolatry, but also was a persecutor of God's people. Literal Babylon was presented in relation to literal Israel as a persecuting power. End time spiritual Babylon will also persecute end time spiritual Israel (God's remnant people).

Total Religious Collapse. No Sins Forgiven
Her Sins have caused a Stench in Heaven.
For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. for her sins have been heaped on one another up to heaven, and God has remembered her unrighteousness. (Revelation 18: 5)

• Tower of Babel. This verse reminds us of the story of the Tower of Babel. (See Genesis 11: 4). After the judgment of the flood, the entire world was united to build their tower with physical bricks and mortar, up to heaven so that they could escape another judgment. Rather than trusting in God, they were trying to get to heaven by man's works and provide for their safety in their rebellion. In response, God came down and judged and dealt with them. (Genesis 11: 5) The city of Babylon emerged in this place of rebellion and is named after this first Tower of Babel.
• Tower of Sin Remains. In Revelation 18, Babylon the great builds another tower. It is a tower of sin that is built with "her sins heaped on one another". She still wants to get to heaven in her rebellion. God cannot ignore her, no more than one can ignore a river of sewer flowing by an outdoor wedding. The stink has reached the doors of heaven.
• Tower of Sin Removed (Day of Atonement). It is also a contrast to the day of atonement. On that day, the sins of the righteous which have been piling up in the sanctuary are removed. However, the sins of the wicked are not removed because they have refused the gift of Christ. So, their sins pile up until they have become a rotting smell that will soon empty heaven so that God can clean up the filth.

Double Her Punishment.
"Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double to her double according to her works: in the cup which she has filled, fill to her double." (Revelation 18: 6)
The phrase "Babylon is fallen, is fallen" is repeated two times (Revelation 18: 2). She falls twice.
"reward her ... double". She is also punished twice.
Note how God deals with sinful literal Israel for going into idolatry.
Call together the archers against Babylon, all those that bend the bow: encamp against her round about; let there be no escaping: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she has done, do to her: for she has acted proudly against Jehovah, against the Holy One of Israel. (Jeremiah 50: 29)

But first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double, because they have profaned My land with the carcasses of their detestable things, and with their abominations have they filled My inheritance. Jehovah, my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of distress, to You shall the nations come from the ends of the earth, and they shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited falsehood and vanity; and in these things there is no profit. Shall a man make gods for himself, and they are no gods? Therefore, look, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know My hand and My might; and they shall know that My name is Jehovah. (Jeremiah 16: 18-21)

Double Defeat.

Satan and the papacy experience a pattern of a defeat, then revival for a short time and then a final defeat. The pattern of this defeat mimics the pattern of the fall of ancient Babylon.

• First Fall. The Papacy fell during the French Revolution when the French outlawed the Catholic religion and General Berthier imprisoned the pope in 1798.
  Satan will fall at the Second Coming and be confined to a devastated earth for 1000 years.
• Revival. The revival of the Papacy started in 1929 with the Lateran treaty and has progressed rapidly under the leadership of Pope John Paul II.
  And I saw one of the heads as if it had been killed and the deadly wound was healed. And the whole world was amazed and followed after the beast. (Revelation 13: 3).
  The revival of Satan starts with the resurrection of the dead at the Third Coming.
  The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed ...
  When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from prison, and will come out to deceive the nations ... (Revelation 20: 5, 7).
  » The Ishtar Gate. Saddam Hussein of Iraq tried to rebuild the ancient city of Babylon in its short revival. They even restored one of the gates of the ancient city. But his ambitions ended with the first gulf war in 1991 and they were completely crushed by the second war in 2003 and he was hanged on 29 December 2006.
• Second Fall. The Papacy (Babylon the Great) will fall at the Second Coming.
  Satan and the wicked will be destroyed after the final judgment.

The Double Defeat of Babylon the Great. Babylon the Great falls during the second fall of ancient Babylon. It also follows the patterns of a double fall.

• First Fall. The rise of the modern Babylon the Great coincided with the short revival and fall of Ancient Babylon (Iraq). The first fall began in the late 1990s - 2001. The church became involved in a pedophelia cover up scandal which tarnished their reputation. The United States war in the Middle East after the tragedy of September 11 had left its reputation tarnished because of the torture and incompetence. It is also financially devastated.
• Revival. Although the United States appears to be in her twilight, she must revive for a short time and gather enough strength to continue the rest of her destiny. I strongly believe that a closer union between the two halves to combat Islam as a religious and political crisis will be the key that revives it. The war in Iraq has escalated Muslim hatred and terrorism and caused a vicious civil war in Iraq. The West will unite under the banner of the Catholic church to combat what is clearly a battle of religions. This is when they will persecute.
  

  The Latter Rain Some time during these gloomy events the power of God will come on the earth and convert those who are willing. Decent people of all religions will come to abhor both the terrorism of Christians, Muslims, Buddhists and Hindus. Some will leave these systems and turn to God others will form their own atheist terrorist network.

  They have already created the laws and institutions and trained the personnel to do this persecution and made other nations adopt this image of persecution systems. Even the religious right have accepted torture. That is their role in prophecy. When the country falls apart and the Islamic flood reaches our shores they will murder their neighbors.
• Second Fall. The seven last plague marks the beginning of their final fall.

Double Comfort. Another reference to "Double" is God's response to His people:
Comfort you, comfort you my people, said your God. Speak to the heart of Jerusalem, and cry to her, that her time of suffering is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned; for she has received of Jehovah's hand double for all her sins. (Isaiah 40: 1-2)
Babylon is punished in double measure for her sins, while God's people will be "pardoned" double.

The Rights of the Firstborn.
This double reward is a right that belongs to the first born.
He shall acknowledge the first born ... by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the beginning of his strength; to him belongs the right of the firstborn. (Deuteronomy 21: 17)
Jesus is the firstborn and we get our blessings and inheritance through Him. (Romans 8: 29; Hebrews 12: 23).
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. (Colossians 1: 15,18)

Arrogant.
"How much she has glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she said in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow." (Revelation 18: 7)
Instead of the apostate church glorifying Christ, and representing God with humility, it glorified itself. The Roman Catholic church has amassed great wealth and has greatly magnified itself. It has rejected the first angel's message in Revelation 14: 7 to "give God glory". It has rejected the third angel's message to not worship the beast and his image (Revelation 14: 9 and 13: 15-16).

"Therefore hear now this, you that are given to pleasures, that dwell carelessly, that says in your heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children. But these two things will come on you suddenly in one day: loss of children and widowhood ..." (Isaiah 47: 8-9)
The context of Isaiah 47 is talking about God's judgment on literal Babylon who calls herself "I Am", (the name of God)! She is also punished for her persecution of God's people. The end time spiritual Babylon (the Roman Catholic Papacy system) places itself in the place of God.
She will lose her kingdom, her marriage and the children that she swears she will have forever.

• Kingdom. The Harlot (Babylon) sits on the beast (a symbol of a kingdom). She controls the state.
• Marriage. She is "married" to the beast (the Church and State relationship) She claims she shall not be a widow, and shall see no sorrow. (Remember Revelation 13 - the deadly wound - she was a "widow" until the beast "was healed"). Thus, she boasts she is fully reunited with the State (Church and State), and claims that her reestablished Church and State will never end.
  But God tells us otherwise!! In fact, Revelation 17: 16 says that her husbands will cannibalize her and burn her.
  I will feed your oppressors with their own flesh, and they will become drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine ... (Isaiah 49: 26)
• Children. She claims that she will not lose her children. She is the mother of prostitutes (Revelation 17: 5).

The Great Day of Wrath. (One Year of Plagues).

"Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judges her." (Revelation 18: 8)

• One Year ("One Day"). "in one day" implies that the seven plagues comes upon Babylon in a very short prophetic time period. The plagues will come within one year or less.
• Fifteen Days ("One Hour"). But from the time of the moral collapse of Babylon, through the fifth, sixth and seventh plagues and the Second Advent of Christ, there will be a short time (two weeks).
  "for in one hour your judgment has come" and "for in one hour so great riches is come to nothing: and "for in one hour is she made desolate".) (Revelation 18: 10, 17, 19)
• Seven Days ("Half Hour"). The last week is the Second Coming. This is the seventh plague and the seventh seal when there is silence in heaven.
  When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half hour. (Revelation 8: 1)

One Day (One Year) of Plagues.

	The seventh seal is silence in heaven, because heaven comes to earth. They begin the journey during the sixth plague.						Half hour (7 days)

The Timing of the Second Coming.
We may not know what year God will come but we probably know what season. The feast pattern and the length of time assigned for punishment indicates that the Second Coming should occur around the time of the feast of Tabernacles. However, there is an argument to be made for the Passover time being the time of exodus from the land of sin. But if we combine both, we may see that the last Passover on earth may be the time of final exodus from Babylon. This is the time the righteous flee or are forced to flee from the wrath of the wicked. This may be the time of the close of probation when God formally and legally separates the righteous from the wicked. (Revelation 22: 11). The physical separation occurs at the Second Coming. Then they are protected by God as the seven last plagues are sent on the earth during the next seven months until they are rescued by the Second Coming during the last feast of tabernacles.

But of that day and hour, no man knows ... (Matthew 24: 36)
Jesus was referring to the date of the Second Coming. A date involves a year, a month, a day and time. In some sense, a year is even more precise, than the month or day. I am not suggesting a specific date within the next year or the next eight hundred years. I am suggesting that when it occurs it will probably be during this period of Tabernacles.
In fact, unless the seven last plagues are milder than we anticipate so that they are mistaken for normal events, the final generation will know that God will come within one year.

Total Political Collapse. No More Government Influence.
"And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour your judgment has come." (Revelation 18: 9-10)
In Revelation 17: 16 -17, we see the Kings turning on Babylon. It is a repeat of the French Revolution. Once they see what she has done to them they turn on her. She caused them to miss out on God's grace and on Heaven. However, instead of repenting for their sins with her, the "kings of the earth" lament that she is gone. They long for the continued relationship with her, rather than with God. This political problem is repeated in other prophecies.

• Mutiny in the Evil Alliance. Revelation 17 reports an alliance that is formed specifically for the purpose of fighting against God, then they turn against each other.
  Alliance Forms. And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength to the beast.
  Fight God. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of Lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. And he said to me, The waters which you saw, where the whore sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
  Mutiny. And the ten horns which you saw upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
  God is in Control. For God has put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the woman which you saw is that great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth. (Revelation 17: 12-18)
• Sixth Plague. Revelation 16: 12 reports that the "waters dried up". Water is a symbol for people. The people turn against Babylon and their popular support erodes.
  The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the east. (Revelation 16: 12)
• Seventh Plague. The final destruction of the empire of Babylon when God comes.

Total Global Economic Collapse. No More Trade.

A United States Economic Collapse A global economic collapse starts in the United States and affects the whole world. As more world economies depend on the United states they become more vulnerable. As more corporations act from greed, they are creating the situation which will exacerbate their destruction. Debt. The country is swimming in debt due to an unbalanced budget and previous debts. Interestingly, we got into serious debt because of the cost of becoming Babylon the Great. Exporting Jobs. Greedy corporations are exporting many types of jobs to cheap markets overseas. This short term economic boost will become a curse in the end because the Americans will no longer be able to afford products. Import and Export Imbalance. Many countries depend on us to buy their products. Their economies will collapse if we cannot buy their products or services.

Babylon is an empire built on trade and sales. All over Babylon we are bombarded with offers to buy, upgrade, trade in or discard. Every product is built with planned obsolescence in mind. Every new technology is built with instant sales and advertising features. Every business seems to be based on encouraging life time debt. Every asset is targeted as a fund to be raided. The people of Babylon are saddled with debt and devoid of security. The slaves of Babylon are replaceable modules who are being increasingly set adrift from the slave masters that they have served. Babylon is aiming for a model of revolving sales, endless profits, and no long term liabilities. Babylon values people only as consumers of their products with life time debt, life time interest and life time payments.
Loss of Trade and Labor. And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buys their merchandise any more: The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all citron wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, And cinnamon, and odors, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
The Good Life is Gone. And the fruits that your soul lusted after are departed from you, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from you, and you shall find them no more at all.
Businessmen Distressed. The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decorated with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
Sudden Collapse. For in one hour so great riches is come to nothing. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like this great city! And they threw dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, in which were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. (Revelation 18: 11-19)

Her lovers are punished with her. In a sense they have been caught in the act of adultery. They have not "come out of her". So they will also suffer the judgment of God at the end. She prostituted herself with kings and merchants and sailors. Those that had benefited by trading with her, lament over her demise, but they never lament their condition. They never repent.

» Two Weeks of Economic Turmoil.
In two weeks the bottom falls out of Babylon into a great abyss. One hour of prophetic time is two weeks of real time. This collapse happens because of the effect of the previous plagues on the global economy during the past ten months. Illegal business practices return to haunt us as the toxic products of industry are exposed by the natural disasters and contaminate the land, water and air throughout the world.

1. Incurable Disease. Affects the medical and pharmaceutical industry and devastates the healthcare, private insurance and government disability payments. The lingering effects for months finally devastate the labor market. No workers mean no products and no sales. No work means no income. No income means no buying and no payments, which are the basis of Babylon's economic system.
2. Blood in the Sea. Famine devastates the fishing industry. Storms, earthquakes and toxins kill marine life.
3. Blood in the Drinking Water. Famine and drought. Poisoned water devastates livestock and crops. Contaminated water comes from natural disasters and industrial waste.
4. Heat. Lack of water and heat devastates the agricultural and energy industry. Global famine worsens.

This is not like previous economic failures. There is no recovery. It is the massive failure of government, commercial, private institutions and individual accounts. It reaches all sectors of the economy, banking (stocks, bonds, credits, pensions and savings), all classes and all nations. It specifically spreads to other nations because of their dependence on the United States economy.
Normal avenues of recovery fail because the people are unable to recover. Sources of income vanish for government, businesses and individuals. A debt ridden government is unable to prop up private and financial institutions and pay its own debts. Other recoveries have occurred because the availability of a labor force was assumed. This will be the critical difference between this collapse and all others. The first four plagues devastate labor and basic commodities.

As these critical resources fail and people are out of work for a long time, other services, housing and consumer debt fails. People cannot work. They cannot buy or sell or pay bills. Money stops circulating. Banks fail. The problems reach a critical point so that the economic collapse occurs in a short time. The fact that it takes so many months to reach this point is a testimony to the extent to which the government, business and media are in collusion to deceive the public and manage the public shock and loss of confidence that leads to a chain reaction that causes economic disaster. They hope that the economy will bounce back if they can suppress the rumors of the extent of the plagues and famine. It finally overwhelms them.

A Global Economic Collapse When the Oil Runs Dry The financial house of cards will fall like dominoes with the loss of either of two key elements. Labor. The first four plagues wipes out the labor supply who are also consumers. The circulation of money fails and causes the worst depression on the planet. Energy. An unexpected, catastrophic loss of global energy supplies will cause trade and commerce to come to a screeching halt. A few strategically placed earthquakes could drain the earth of its oil supplies in one day. The reservoirs of oil fall to lower levels below the pipe lines. At full capacity, the Strategic Petroleum Reserves will only last for thirty five days. But an earthquake in the Gulf states of the southern United States will also drain these reserves into the Gulf of Mexico. An earthquake in the Persian Gulf would be more disastrous. Shale oil will not supply global needs.     |   |   |   |   |     |

People switch their income from one failing stock to another and pension funds are wiped out. Those who switch to bonds are not safer, the government will also collapse. This means that government debts cannot be paid. Foreign governments who depend on exports to America, or import American jobs, or who hold American debt bonds will collapse. Other countries will experience the same cycle of events. But their dependence on our economy contributes to the chain reaction of global economic failure.

» Abused Power. God is not cruel. You will be judged by your own standard of judgment. This is a just punishment for people who only recently condemned the church of God to the same fate. Some actively started this persecution and others let it happen for their own sense of survival. Everyone is accountable for not speaking up.
And he provides that no one can buy or sell, except the one who has the mark of the beast ... (Revelation 13: 17).

» Murderers. Foreign governments also make alliances and security agreements to carry out the persecution.
The ten horns which you saw are ten kings ... These have one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast. These will wage war against the lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of Lords and King of Kings. And those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful. (Revelation 17: 12-14)

» Greedy Thieves. They defrauded the people to consume more wealth.
» The Rich in Turmoil. Come now you rich, weep and howl for the miseries which are coming upon you.
» Wealth Lost. Your riches have rotted and your garments have been eaten by moths. Your gold and your silver have rusted; and their rust will be a witness against you and will consume your flesh like fire.
» Hoarded Wealth. It is in the last days that you have stored up your treasure!
» Underpaid Workers. Look, the pay of the laborers who mowed your fields which you withheld, cries out against you; and the cries of those who did the harvesting has reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.
» Idle and Self-Indulgent. You have lived luxuriously on the earth and led a life of wanton pleasure; you have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter. (James 5: 1-5)

» Useless Wealth. They will fling their silver into the streets and their gold will become an abhorrent thing; their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord.
Severe Famine. They cannot satisfy their appetite nor can they fill their stomachs, for their iniquity has become an occasion of stumbling. (Ezekiel 7: 19)

Useless Precious Metals The precious metals market collapses because they have become useless instruments of trade for the commodities that the world needs ... food. You cannot eat gold. Mud Cakes. Poverty is so great in Haiti that they are making cookies out of mud, oil and water! They cannot afford to buy food even if it existed. In the end there will be no food to buy.

Their wealth is useless because it cannot buy food. Those who have access to food will not sell it at any price. Wealth will not be able to buy a medical solution for the sores. Wealth will not clean up rivers and seas or stop the heat. When God destroys the infrastructure and there are no poor people to underpay, the wicked will find that their wealth is useless for buying privilege and influence and maid service. But they will have expensive toilet paper. Maybe their spoilt children can learn to make a sandwich.
In fact, wealth will be a liability. So instead of being able to use their wealth to buy better conditions, the rich are forced to abandon all signs of wealth. They must leave their expensive homes, cars and jewelry. Their money is probably lost in bank failures and in a stock market crash. Yet they cannot trade precious metal or other hard currency because it is a useless liability that cannot be eaten.
For several years I have watched as several forms of slavery have returned to the world. While the world experienced many years of economic growth, the number of poor increased. The wealth produced was distributed to the wealthy, it did not trickle down to the poor. Today, there are 27 million slaves on the planet.
As the value of precious metals soar, I have also seen the wealthy switching to gold and precious metals as the asset to purchase and I cannot help but think that this shift is prophetic because God is setting up the conditions for their fall.

Economic Exploitation Economic exploitation is a sign of the end of time. It is both surprising and ironic that in this enlightened age that we have turned back to these policies during a time of economic growth.

The Sins of Power and Excess. The economic forces seem to be deliberately creating a global debt bondage society where wealth is concentrated in a few families or corporations and the rest of humanity is the fodder in a feudal society. Governments are increasingly in the business of creating a fascist state.

• Classical Slavery. In Sudan, Christians are forced into labor. In other countries, children are forced into labor which deprives them of an education. One million Indian children are industrial slaves. The poor are then forced into prostitution and begging.
• Sexual Slavery. Women and children, little boys and little girls are kidnapped or sold for sexual slavery. This even occurs with babies less than a year old. In Thailand, every year 600,000 girls under twelve are sold, swapped for television sets, taken or lured into prostitution to serve wealthy business men.

  Divine Justice Many prostitutes will be in heaven and many respectable preachers and law makers will be in the other place.

• Economic Slavery. The rich are creating conditions that are deliberately forcing the poor into debt bondage. If these conditions continue in the United States, the country will become like South America where the rich own the majority of the land and the poor are in a perpetual state of low wages and hopelessness. In fact it is the feudal economic system of the dark ages. Wealthy people own the land and the poor have to pledge their cooperation in war, in exchange for leasing the land for farming. The government did not help the people. It went to war and enforced religion.
  • Wages and Working Conditions and Modern Slavery in America. One Christian law maker described what occurs in the garment industry as a good "model". Although the Marinaras Islands are a United States protectorate, they are allowed to charge below the minimum wage. The person in charge of scheduling laws for vote will not allow a law that fixes this to be introduced. Women are locked in factories, time cards are not allowed to be punched and wages are horrendous. People are not allowed bathroom breaks for hours. Women are forced into prostitution and abortion. So a situation of indentured servants exists in a United States protectorate. Slavery exists once again in America.
  • Wages and Working Conditions Around the Globe. European, American, Chinese and other big industrial countries are all at a race to the bottom in trying to exploit poor countries for their wealth. What is even more evil is the connection that the businesses have with the governments. Here are some examples.
    • Farming. On migrant farms, workers are not allowed water breaks for hours. Working conditions are inhumane.
    • Garment and Textile. The abuses in the garment industry are notorious. What is so disgusting is the type of companies that condone these practices.
      The big secret is out. In a factory in the Middle East, one expensive lingerie company is charged with forcing women to work 100 hours per week at 75 cents an hour with no overtime. The workers are arrested if they complain.
    • Energy. On 10 November 1995, Ken Saro-Wiwa and 8 Ogoni colleagues were executed in Nigeria for their nonviolent campaign against the pollution and devastation of the Niger Delta region by Shell and Chevron oil companies.
    
    All of this is condemned by the bible as the violence of their trade. Governments protect business when workers complain about gross mistreatment. Many European and American companies distance themselves from this criticism by claiming that they are not in control of these facilities.
    » A Bargain in Hell. You contribute to this chain of events by believing that you are a prudent house wife and good steward of money by finding good bargains at these companies. You can even contribute more money to the church and the poor. Take care of the oppressed and they will not be forced into poverty.
  • Bankruptcy. The new bankruptcy laws which come in effect on October 7, 2005 exempt large corporations. However, individuals and small businesses will find it almost impossible to file. The republicans would not even make an exception for people who lost everything because of a natural disaster!
  • Eminent Domain. One can see how big agricultural companies plan to take over small farms. We see how small businesses will be taken over by large corporations. We see how land and property will shift to the wealthy. The new law on eminent domain shows how large corporations, in collusion with the government can take over private property and force people into properties of lesser value or more debt because the public good is now defined as who can make the most profit.
    Small business on premium property are taxed at the rate of the businesses that could exist there.
    Howl you rich! Stuff yourselves fat! Take everything! Remember the good old days because your day is coming!
  • Retirement. Large corporations are allowed to abandon their retirement obligations. The government is slowly shifting pieces of the system to private organizations. What will happen is that premiums and cost will increase so much that the elderly will no longer seek medical attention because it is too expensive. The poor have already been forced into this predicament. It was a surprise for me to learn that the elderly pay any premiums, much less so much money every month.
  • Loans (Unjust Usury). Excessive interest that guarantees decades of indebtedness are being charged. Banks have become creative in the ways they are taking over your assets. They offer interest only loans and reverse mortgages. These people are trying to make sure that you will be paying interest and taxes on property for the rest of your life and when you die they will own the equity that you have accumulated.
    » Predatory Lenders and Pay-Day Loans. Charge 400% interest, and go to areas where the poor and vulnerable live. In the best case they are only charging 30% interest.
  • Medical. Medical premiums are now costing over 25% of take home pay. This forces may people to be uninsured. With the new bankruptcy bill, the wages of the poor are being garnished. The fact is that one uninsured medical bill, or one visit to the emergency room can set back a family for years. Infant mortality rates have increased in the United States since 2000 until they are now equivalent to Malaysia.

  Slavery in America Indentured servants and debt bondage slavery legally exists in America as the congress refuses to stop abuse and even try to prevent action.

• Industrial Slavery. We seem to be returning to a feudal system.
  • Day Labor Model. This is the hiring model to which we seem to be migrating for many industries such as agriculture and construction. It offers below minimum wages, no benefits such as health care and an opportunity to avoid taxes.
  • For Profit Prisons. The Thirteenth Amendment allows prisons to use labor without pay. We have a trend of holding illegal immigrants and certain nonviolent criminals in some ethnic groups for this labor pool. Users of cheap "crack cocaine" are given more punishment than users of powder cocaine. So more blacks than whites are in prison working for corporate America for pennies.
    » Captive Guinea Pigs. Since 2006, the government has again allowed the previously banned practice of doing medical experiments on prisoners.
  • For Profit Armies. We seem to be migrating towards a mercenary system where employees of these companies are unaccountable to any government for their actions because the "fog of war" allows injustice. These armies seem to be coming straight out of the comic books and violent video games. Men are fed steroids to increase their aggressiveness. Robotics technologies provides an armor that gives super human strength, not just protection.
• Continental Drift. After years of policies that divided families, encouraged prostitution through the imposed working conditions; we now find that Africa is dying from AIDS. It even appears that there is a policy of deliberate neglect that probably hopes to steal the continent in the future after the population has been decimated. Let Africa die so that we can take her property and her wealth in oil and diamonds and minerals.

» Corporate Sins. Their sins are based on exploiting the poor to benefit the rich no matter what it costs the future, the people, nations and environment. Profit is the ultimate good. Investors believe that they can distance themselves morally from the business practices of their companies. Deliberately goughing out your eyes is not an excuse in the judgment. Profit making is not a moral imperative. Greed is not good.

• Banking, Securities and Insurance. Greed and theft. They actually make plans on how to push the poor into financial problems as they rob all their hard earned savings. They conspire to charge 60% interest rates and write laws to make it impossible for you to get out of the problems that they have conspired to put you in. Filthy pigs! Magots and flies and dung beetles provide better public service!
  » Usury Pimps and Rapists. They secretly change due dates and invent reasons to increase interest rates and apply fees, undisclosed fees and secret rule changes or undisclosed new rules. One company even increases interest rates based on the financial profile of the type of customer who shops where you do! They will invent any reason to increase your debt. This is worse than unjust usury. The immoral part of this is that they target the elderly and the poor and the trusting and then blame you for getting into debt that you could not afford. All of this strong arm robbery went into full gear after they wrote new bankruptcy laws and the whoring politicians rubber stamped it and then turned the other way, spouting "free market" dogmas.
  » Universal Default or the Right to "Reprice". Credit card companies have given themselves the right to change the interest rate at any time for any reason. Under "universal default" they can raise your interest rate to 30% if you are late on any other bill not related to their bill.
  » A Deliberate Bounce. Checks are no longer processed in the order received. Banks will sort and process checks from the largest to the smallest so that they can bounce more checks and collect more fees.
• Energy (Oil Companies). War, greed, theft, slavery, lying, influence peddling and destruction of the earth. Texaco drills for oil in Ecuador since the 1960 and decides to use substandard methods to save money. They dumped the waste into the water supply and surface, destroying the rain forest, polluting the water supply and poisoning the people. Other countries with oil such as the Niger delta region which are controlled by Shell oil have the vast majority of the population living in abject poverty while the oil companies take their wealth. And in 2004 we find an oil company guilty of condoning slavery in Myanmar. They may also be providing weapons and private armies for governments to go to war to seize assets.
• Water Companies. The greedy pigs are trying to own and control water, so God will sent a drought.
• The Christian Church. Moral cowards who have forgotten their primary mission from God. They are behaving like a greedy, profit making organization that is constantly trying to peddle influence with the government. The problem is that they support injustice and immorality by being silent and use the hammer of sin and immorality when it suits them. In 2004, we find a United States senator and congressman who spouts Christianity guilty of allowing slavery and prostitution in the garment industry of an American protectorate by using his power and influence to prevent changes in the law that would punish the owners.
• Agriculture. Slavery, economic exploitation and genetic pollution of the earth. They are attempting to flood the world with more pesticides, genetically engineered plants and livestock and fish raised on filth. The agribusinesses are guilty of many genetic pollution practices that are meant to maximize their profits while minimizing our choices. Monsanto is the major culprit.
  • Theft. They patent natural seeds made by God so that people cannot use them anymore and are forced to buy the Frankenstein monster seeds.
  • Lying. In partnership with the government they are forcing these untested products on us by refusing to label them. We have no choice because we do not know what we are buying. Their promise of higher yield, less pesticide, blue skies and pink lollipops are a lie. Their demon seeds are engineered to work with their chemical pesticides. They get to sell more seeds and pesticides.
  • Murder. They invent a seed that kills itself so that it can only grow for one season.
  • Adultery. Genes from unrelated species are mixed. Human genes in pigs. Pig genes in plants.
  • Playing God. Scientists are treating the creation as a giant laboratory that can be pulled apart and reassembled according to their will. Humans are a collection of chemicals that can be remixed and sold for a profit.
• Weapons. War mongers who feed on the misery of others and perpetuate violence for profit.
• Entertainment and Music. They advocate infidelity, sensuality, irreverence, disrespect, rape, murder, violence, hostility to God, sexual immorality, witchcraft, spiritualism, alcoholism, drug abuse, smoking and gambling. And they love to refer to religion as dangerous fables and superstition.
  All the enemies of God are advocated by this one industry every day through the television.
• Sports. Immorality. They advocate alcoholism, violence, irresponsibility and a general lack of morals.
• Garment. Slavery and economic exploitation.
• Pedophiles. Pedophelia has become an organized business. Many take the opportunity provided by the chaos of a tragedy to go with relief organizations or to pose as relief agencies and rape the desperate children or kidnap them for sale and trade elsewhere. In one sophisticated organization, 103 children under five years old were kidnapped from Chad and Darfur, then taken on chartered planes bound for France.

» National Sins. There are no righteous nations. Everyone is a whore. But the righteous people are scattered among all nations.

• United Nations. The structure of this organization is built to institutionalize its inaction. The complicated security council structure is only guaranteed to benefit the superpowers and keep the status quo.
• China. Greed. In its race to be the future military and economic superpower, China stands up for nothing that does not advance its own self interest or of which it plans to exploit. It suppresses freedom of worship. It takes from the poor to give to its new corporate friends, confiscating property and terrorizing workers and silencing protests. It is trying to finance economic dominance as cheaply as possible in a way that is destroying the environment despite all we know about the effect of carbon fuels on the atmosphere. It uses its influence to stand up for nothing except what it can acquire in its race to be on top. China is even guilty of stopping United nations actions to condemn the government of Sudan for the genocide in Darfur, because China has a beneficial deal for oil. Unfortunately, China does not realize that we are in a paradigm shift. It is no longer the time to build an empire on injustice against the poor and helpless because God is now judging.
• North Korea. The self indulgent "dear leader" thinks that he should be worshipped as god and he executes Christians by having them run over with a steam roller.
• South East Asia. Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, India and countries in that region are guilty of some of the worst crimes against children. A child of any age can be bought for sex in Thailand. Most of its economy comes from the sex industry. Child slavery for many industries, in particular the sex industry is a crime that will be punished severely by God. Rich pedophiles from Europe, Japan, Australia, England, China, Canada and the United States participate in this crime.
• Russia. Years of godlessness has left the countries of the former Soviet Union without a soul. They are strangled by mobsters who peddle in the flesh of the innocent. A culture of crime, intimidation and violence remains.
• European Union. Hypocrisy! Behind the veneer of morality, high breeding and culture is a society of excess, immorality and the seething mass of a permanent underclass. These are remnants of a failed colonial policy and centuries of exploiting other nations.
• United States. Hypocrisy! It pretends to be for the freedom of people while it is really for the freedom of corporations to plunder other nations. Theft, lying, openly advocating torture and war mongering. It is solely responsible for forcing the world to accept Frankenstein seeds and hide it from their population. Using the World Trade Organization, the USA threatens economic sanctions for attempts at labeling or regulating genetically modified seeds. It will be pilloried when its policies create global famine and desolation. The image of being the conscience and moral voice of the world has been tarnished. Babylon has fallen.
• Muslim Nations. Hypocrisy! It seems that they hate Israel more than they love the Palestinians. They turn a blind eye to the crimes of Sudan against Christians and Muslims. They vilified Israel while Yasser Arafat kept hostilities going so that he could steal donations made for the Palestinians. They hold telethons for suicide bombers and their families, but allow Sudan to rape, murder and destroy their own black Muslims. And they have the hubris to condemn western immorality.
• South America. Despite the fact that most of these countries claim to be 90% Catholic, yet centuries of economic exploitation have deliberately created and maintained a permanent underclass. It is a phenomenon seen mostly among former Spanish and French colonies. Former British colonies seemed to have left their people with a culture of education and an infrastructure that could have allowed them to slowly rise out of poverty.
• Africa. Corruption. It is in the best interest of western corporation to preserve their assets by supporting one despot who will keep business costs low by exploiting the people. Nigerians live in poverty that does not reflect the oil wealth in the country.
  Africa is suffering from a modern from of colonialism by proxy. Western nations and their corporate masters hand pick the despot of their choice and prop them up as a "legitimate government". Then they separate themselves from the national misery that their policies create. For this reason rich American oil companies can distance themselves from the slave labor in their oil fields and the theft of tribal lands exploited for oil and other national resources.

Total Rejection. (verses 20-24)
The bridegroom rejects her and stones her to death with her lovers.

Revenge. Vengeance is Mine. I will repay. (Hebrews 10: 30; Deuteronomy 32: 35)
The double punishment of Babylon was not only the two falls of the Papacy. The plagues are the first punishment in which God takes revenge. The next is their destruction in the Second Death and the lake of fire.
"Rejoice over her, heaven, and holy apostles and prophets; for God has avenged you on her." (Revelation 18: 20)

Violence will be her Destiny. And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. (Revelation 18: 21)
This shows the speed and violence with which Babylon will be destroyed. She is also destroyed in the sea, among the wicked with whom she tried to defy God. In the end God gave her up to the nations she wanted and they consumed her. There is no security in Babylon, only fear and violence. The people of Babylon have no hope.
Because the prophecies of the New Testament refer to the Old Testament incidents, we can look at the social, economic and political conditions at the time of the first fall of Babylon to understand the events at the fall of Babylon the Great. We can also look at the fall of Satan as prophesied by Ezekiel 28 to understand even more. At the end of time Babylon commits the same sins as Satan and it will suffer the same punishment.

• Global Power. In the end America spreads its power in the same manner as its colonial forefathers. In their zeal to control trade they are never satisfied and chew up nations to maintain their own status.
  They Mock Powers Relying On Their Armies And Weapons. For behold I am raising up the Chaldeans, that fierce an impetuous people who march throughout the earth to seize dwelling places which are not theirs. They are dreaded and feared; their justice and authority originate with themselves. They mock at kings and rulers are a laughing matter to them. They laugh at every fortress and heap up rubble to capture it. They will sweep through like wind and pass on. But they will be held guilty, those whose strength is their god. (Habakuk 1: 6-7, 10-11)
  "Furthermore, wine betrays the haughty man, so that he does not stay at home he enlarges his appetite like Sheol, and he is like death, never satisfied. He also gathers to himself all nations and collects to himself all peoples. "You have devised a shameful thing for your house by cutting off many peoples; so you are sinning against yourself. "Surely the stone will cry out from the wall, and the rafter will answer it from the framework. (Habakkuk 2: 5, 10-11)
  A cry for Justice will reach heaven and God will respond.
• Violent. Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed and founds a town with violence! (Habakuk 2: 12)
• Babylon Corrupts. Babylon is a corrupting influence at all levels.
  • Corrupts Nations by Their Trade. Ezekiel reveals that their trade was violent. We sell weapons to the world and in our own communities. We go to war to secure business interests. We seize opportunities to plunder nations under the guise of charity. This is violence.
    By the abundance of your trade you were internally filled with violence and you sinned, Therefore I cast you as profane from the mountain of God. And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub from the midst of the stones of fire. (Ezekiel 28: 16)
  • Corrupts Nations by Their Immorality. In making the world safe for American business we have spread an immoral culture through entertainment, fashion and electronics. We specifically do this to target young people to make them want the American lifestyle. We hope to make them rebel against their parents, their traditions and their religion. We claim that it is to save them from oppressiveness, but we are actually destroying them by gross immorality, another form of oppression. We are not exporting Christianity, we are exporting corruption, secularism and atheism to make people as naked as we are.
    "Woe to you who make your neighbors drink, who mix in your venom even to make them drunk so as to look on their nakedness! (Habakuk 2: 15)
  • Corrupts Religion. The Abomination of Desolation stands in the Holy Place (Daniel 11: 45).
    We are ashamed because we have heard reproach; Disgrace has covered our faces, for aliens have entered the holy places of the Lord's house. (Jeremiah 51: 51)
    By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your trade you profaned your sanctuaries. ... (Ezekiel 28: 18)
    Babylon profaned religion by sin and by unrighteous trade in the Mark of the Beast persecution. They forced idolatry on the people of God at the threat of economic sanctions and brutal persecution.
• Reaches Outerspace. "Woe to him who gets evil gain for his house to put his nest on high, to be delivered from the hand of calamity! (Habakuk 2: 9)
  Though Babylon shall ascend to the heavens, and though she should fortify her lofty stronghold, from Me destroyers will come to her, declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 51: 53)
  Even though Babylon has superior technology, she will still be destroyed. Remember "shock and awe"?
  » The Elevator of Babel ("Tsiolkovsky Tower"). We are even planning to build an elevator that can reach outer space at a height of 100,000 km (62,000 miles).
• At the Mercy of Creditors. Babylon become a debtor nation who will be at the mercy of creditors when they fall.
  "Will not all of these take up a taunt-song against him, even mockery and insinuations against him And say, 'Woe to him who increases what is not his -- For how long -- and makes himself rich with loans?' Will not your creditors rise up suddenly, and those who collect from you awake? Indeed you will become plunder for them. (Habakuk 2: 6-7)
  » Sovereign Wealth Funds. In the 1990's Europe stopped investing in our debt and now most of our debt is being held by China and Middle East countries. However, Revelation shows that this time their creditors will also fall with them. If the overseas investors perceive an economic problem with the United States treasury, they could trigger a severe depression if they withdraw all their funds.
• Overrun by Foreigners. "Because you have looted many nations, all the remainder of the peoples will loot you -- because of human bloodshed and violence done to the land, to the town and all its inhabitants. (Habakuk 2: 8)
• Destroyers From the North. Since Canada is a more trusted border, our greatest enemies will come from here, not through the Mexican border.
  Then heaven and earth and all that is in them will shout for joy over Babylon, for the destroyers will come to her from the north, declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 51: 48)
• Disgraced. "You will be filled with disgrace rather than honor. Now you yourself drink and expose your own nakedness the cup in the LORD'S right hand will come around to you, and utter disgrace will come upon your glory. (Habakuk 2: 16)
  Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty. You corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendor. I cast you to the ground. I put you before kings, that they may see you. (Ezekiel 28: 17)
  ... Therefore I brought fire from the midst of you. It has consumed you. And I have turned you to ashes on the earth in the eyes of all who see you. All who know you among the people are appalled at you. You have become terrified and you will cease to be forever. (Ezekiel 28: 18-19)
  The one who brought terror is now terrorized by God.
• Babylon is Overthrown by Many Nations. Their fall will be a big disgrace.
  Lift up a signal in the land, blow a trumpet among the nations! Consecrate the nations against her. Summon against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni and Ashkenaz. Appoint a marshall against her, bring up the horses like bristly locusts. Consecrate the nations against her, the kings of the Medes, their governors and all their prefects, and every land of their domination. (Jeremiah 51: 27-28)
  • Overthrown by Their Subjects. There will be rebellion in every land that they dominated.
  • Overthrown by the Medes and Persians. The fall of Babylon will involve the ancient Persian empire.
  • Overthrown by Ararat, Minni and Ashkenaz. This is the region of Armenia, eastern Turkey and the Black Sea, primarily the nation of Iran.
  We see from the condemnation that this fall is a direct result of our military and economic policies. We lied when we claimed to be exporting freedom and democracy.

No Wedding Invitation: No Bridegroom, No Music or Wedding. "And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in you; and no craftsman, of whatever craft, shall be found any more in you; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in you; And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in you; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in you: for your merchants were the great men of the earth; for by your sorceries were all nations deceived." (Revelation 18: 22-23)
Her invitation to the wedding feast has been revoked. Her association with the wealthy and the power brokers is useless.

No Wedding Feast: Except a Feast of Blood. She is full of blood.
"And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth". (Revelation 18: 24)
She drinks blood for her wedding. She is guilty of the murder of all the righteous since Abel. Why? They never learned the lessons of these previous generations. By sharing in the sins of the previous generations, the guilt and cumulative effect falls upon the final generation. Sodom will rise up and condemn us because they would have repented if they had the volume of evidence that we had (Matthew 11: 21-24). By this "shared and cumulative" guilt, the blood of all the saints was found on her, leading up to the complete wrath of God being put against her. See the Words of Christ in Matthew.
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because you build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Therefore you be witnesses to yourselves, that you are the children of them which killed the prophets. Fill up then the measure of your fathers. Serpents, generation of vipers, how can you escape the damnation of hell? (gehenna) Therefore, Look, I send to you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them you shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall you scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom you slew between the temple and the altar. Truly I say to you, All these things shall come upon this generation. (Matthew 23: 29-36)

The Judgment is Correct. And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, to the Lord our God: For true and righteous are his judgments: for he has judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. (Revelation 19: 1-2)

The other guests invited to the wedding agree. We see the heavenly scene, where God is praised for His just and righteous judgment and punishment of Babylon. This is Heaven's response to the judgment process. Heaven has seen that God's judgments are righteous and deserved. God's justice has been confirmed and praised, ending the judgment process by the prosecution in heaven, just before the second coming. The wicked give their defense at the third coming.

The Punished Ones. While the wicked are punished for rebellion or allowing themselves to be deceived, God singles out three groups for punishment. They were guilty of using the acquisition of money to maintain their power. They did not know that they were poor, blind and naked.
... and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. (Revelation 3: 17)

• Governments ("Blind"). They elevated business and power above people.
• Church Leaders ("Naked"). They covered themselves in the "righteousness of wealth" and used wealth and business affiliations to influence governments and trade in order to maintain power and prestige, to enforce their own beliefs and to control the people.
• Businessmen ("Poor"). They grew wealthy on the back of injustice, not caring who helped them to control the workers and how this was done.
  » The Cause of Suffering. Looking at historical events, people point to religion as the cause of much of the suffering in the world. I disagree. The pursuit of wealth and control is the cause of all the suffering. Religion is the vehicle used because any despot can use a belief system to manipulate people. At the head of every religious or social revolution is a corrupt group who do not apply the belief system to their own lives but pick isolated parts of a religion to marshal the people. In the end they are wealthy, in power and in control. It is easy to herd the obedient sheep with carefully worded platitudes about "faith", "turning the other cheek", "patience of the saints", "martyrdom", "72 virgins" and "blessings of God".
  The love of money is the root of all evil, not devotion to God.

Cheap labor became a prized commodity, and wealth became the sign of God's favor and the currency to secure domination. God breaks the cycle and exposes their shame by removing the cheap labor and making wealth of no value. In the end, the commodities of value are forgiveness, kindness, mercy, tenderness and self sacrifice.

Repetition and Enlargement
This is a repetition of the second and third angel's message. The warnings of these angels have come through. It is also an enlargement of the seven last plagues, specifically the last three plagues. It does not concentrate on the world but on the judgment of the political and religious powers responsible. It explains why Babylon was judged. After trying to usurp the power of God they end up without any power. God abandons them.

We first saw this power, described as the little horn, who tries to conquer the world and heaven. We saw how it persecuted the church in its desire to rule the church. We saw God condemn it for its immoral union with governments. Then God judged them and as a consequence they fell in 1798. Despite the judgment, they rise up one more time to join forces with the political powers so that it can rule the church and the world. God permits this final union and they cannibalize each other. Then God destroys them all.
We will see the same pattern of rebellion when people are judged at the Third Coming. After the judgment, they try to rebel against God one last time and join forces to fight God in the Battle of Armageddon.

Worldwide Economic Collapse. At first glance, Chapter 18 seems to only picture a worldwide economic collapse, and this would be a fitting punishment for a generation whose gods were science, money and power. But the punishment is not only economic, the union of three powers will also be punished spiritually and politically. Let us take a look at the symbolism, it is steeped in the imagery of the sanctuary.

The seven last plagues also show a collapse of a false religious system. The plagues give the final blow in the collapse of Babylon. Let us compare both.

Lost power, wisdom, children, music and the Holy Spirit
	Wisdom	Fifth plague. Darkness, they had no answers
	Power, children	Sixth plague. Their support is gone. The alliance breaks up and the people leave the churches.
	Holy Spirit	Sixth plague. They had the spirits of demons instead of the Holy Spirit.
	Music	Fifth plague. They blasphemed God instead of giving him praise or repenting.

Collapse Of A False Religious System.
What was found in Babylon? In the end, she lost the Holy Spirit, her husband - Christ, her children, wisdom, her connection to the sanctuary and all that was found in her was death, the blood of the saints. She boasted that she would never become a widow. In reality, she did not become a widow or lose her husband by natural means. The bridegroom rejected her because of her prostitution and never married her! She reached this stage because she wanted, power and riches but not the law, she trusted in armies more than God and she became brutal.

The final call came to leave her because she would be judged. This chapter is full of the sanctuary images. Let us take a look.

• Babylon lost all the things that God has given her.
  1. Wisdom. Verse 16 - no pearls. No wisdom.
  2. Music of the sanctuary. No Gospel. Verse 22 (See Psalms 150)
  3. Holy Spirit. Verse 13, she lost the fruit of the wheat and barley harvest. The Holy Spirit came to the church as a fulfillment of those feasts (See Exodus 34: 22).
  4. Children. Verse 14, she lost the fruit harvest. Her children will leave when they hear the call to come out of Babylon. The other children will die.
• Babylon lost the system she created.
  1. False Priesthood. Verse 11, 13, 15, she no longer has influence with the people who sold her goods.
  2. Power. Verse 9, she lost her political power and influence.
• Babylon was found without these things. She had no connection to the true sanctuary.
  1. Law. Verse 17, she was found with the scarlet and the purple (blood and power) but no blue - no law.
  2. The Incense in the sanctuary. Verse 13. See Exodus 30: 20, 34-35.
  3. The Sacrifices. Verse 13
  4. Light. Verse 23 - only darkness was in her.
  5. The Bridegroom. Verse 23, she was divorced by her husband for her infidelity.
• Babylon was found with these things.
  1. Trusted in Armies. Verse 13. She placed her trust in horses and chariots. She used the power of the civil governments.
  2. Blood. Verse 24 - she was a murderer.

The Evidence Of The Fall Of Babylon. Babylon is composed of two powers. One religious and the other a civil power who behaves like its army. Both use the power of the purse and violence to accomplish their will.

4		Prison of unclean spirits	Adoration of Statues and Icons. The spirits are encouraging the practice of idolatry. They mix the holy things of God with their unholy perversions.
5		Prison of every unclean and hateful bird	A bird symbolizes lying and deceit. Demonic Communications. The spirits are lying when they pretend to be Mary. False Ecumenicism. The church is lying when it pretends to accept others while it is merely plotting to overcome them when it becomes the majority or when it gets governments to destroy minority religions. Forgive Sins. The priests are lying when they say they can forgive sins. Intercession of Saints. They promote a hateful view of God by teaching that Mary and dead saints stand between us and the wrath of God.

8		Kings of the earth commit immorality	Papal Legates. The Catholic church signed 128 concordats between 1950 and 1999. It is the only church with a voice in the United Nations. It is strongly supported by the United States which has resisted all attempts to treat the Vatican like other churches at the United Nations. Security Council. The USA has power at the United Nations to bully nations into wars and immoral decisions. In 2002-2004, they voted to exempt the USA from war crimes.
9		All nations drink the wine of her immorality	Hollywood Culture. The greatest export of the United States is our culture. We have exported all the immoral merchandize of hollywood and the media. The church changes the laws of God and it exports its own illegal and immoral religious rules and idolatry to the world. After Afghanistan fell, the very conservative country now has prostitutes and bars. Patriot Act. The ability to legally persecute has been established. Laws have been made that severely compromise religious rights and religious free speech. Governments promote big business interests at all costs and apparently have such control over news organizations that they dictate what should be released to the public.
10		Merchants became rich by the power of her luxury	Global Resources. The United States economy and its effect on the world. Because we immorally consume so much of the world's resources, we are making many people (business men) rich. Because we concentrate on profits, we do not look at what is happening to the poor workers. Debt Extortion. We deliberately put countries into debt with expensive construction projects in order to wrench control and cooperation from them in the United Nations. Financial institutions are deliberately putting people in debt at high interest. Media Manipulation. The ability to win a propaganda war has been established. The news media, Hollywood and political pundits no longer serve the interests of the public. They censor information and promote big business interest at all costs at the bidding of the government or their owners. These groups have a hidden agenda that we will soon realize. All this clandestine activity has been in place before September 11, 2001. It may have started in 1991 but took a giant strategic step forward in 1996.

The Journey of Babylon
The journey began after the flood when Babylon became the first city created and it was specifically created to rebel against God. It would also be the last rebellious city at the end of time. This pattern shows that nations are judged in the same manner as people.
Wealth. Noah and his family had inherited the whole earth.
Covenant Established. He established a covenant with God when He came out of the ark.

• Exodus. The family of Noah exited the ark and went to repopulate the earth.
  • Judah ("Praise the Lord"). Noah and his family of eight exited the ark and worshipped God.
  • Issachar ("Wages, Living in Tents"). As the family grew, they were nomadic. They had the entire world as their property and their lives as a reward for being faithful.
  • Zebulun ("Gift, Going Forth on a Journey"). They went east to a place that would be Babylon.
    Land of Shinar (Babylon). It came about as they journeyed east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. (Genesis 10: 2)
• Affliction. In fear, they hatched a plan to resist God if He ever tried to punish them again. They tried to build a high tower that could not be covered by flood waters.
  • Reuben ("No Preeminence"). The Lord judged their actions as rebellion and turned agianst them.
    Rebellion. The Lord said, "Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they begin to do, and now nothing that they purpose to do will be impossible for them." (Genesis 10: 6)
  • Simeon ("Hated, Scattered, Separated"). Language was used to separate the people.
    Speech Shattered. Come, let Us go down there and confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another's speech. So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over theface of thewholeworld; and they stopped building the city. (Genesis 10: 7-8)
  • Gad ("Fortunate, Raided"). God raided them and confounded their speech and scattered them.
    The Lord Raided Babel. Therefore the name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of the whole earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of the whole earth. (Genesis 10: 9)
    2000 years later, Babylon became a world power and captured the rebellious children of God, destroyed His temple and took the people as slaves.
• Curses (Blessings Denied). While Babylon became more powerful, Israel suffered.
  • Joseph ("Reproach Added, Death"). Babylon humiliated Israel, making eunuchs and servants of their princes, blinding the king and enslaving the people.
    Tormented Israel. For there our captors demanded of us songs, and our tormentors mirth, saying, "Sing us one of the songs of Zion". O daughter of Babylon, you devastated me, how blessed will be the one who repays you with the recompense with which you have repaid us. (Psalm 137: 3, 8)
  • Manasseh ("Do Not Make Me Forget Zion or YHWH").
    Remember Jerusalem. If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand forget her skill. (Psalm 137: 5)
    » Idolatry. Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold for them to worship under a death penalty.
  • Benoi ("Son of Sorrow"). Israel knew only sorrow in Babylon.
    Weeping. By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down and wept, when we remembered Zion. How can we sing the Lord's song in a foreign land. (Psalm 137: 1, 4)
  » Water Dries Up (Euphrates River). The river dried up so that the eastern kings from Persia invaded.
• Almost Dead and Wrath. Babylon falls in 535 BC when the Persian kings come from the east.

  • Dan ("Serpent, Judged").
    Disrespect. They drank the wine and praised the gods of gold and silver, of bronze, iron, wood and stone. Suddenly the fingers of a man's hand emerged and began writing opposite the lampstand on the plaster of the wall of the king's palace, and the king saw the back of the hand that did the writing.
    God has numbered your kingdom and put an end to it. You have been weighed in the scales and found deficient. (Daniel 5: 4, 26-27)
    Two Rivals. Medes and Persians.
    Medo-Persian Empire. "PERES" - Your kingdom has been divided and given over to the Medes and Persians. (Daniel 5: 28)
    A Feast. Babylon fell while they were having a drunken feast.
    Party All Night. Belshazzar the king held a great feast for a thousand of his nobles, and he was drinking wine in the presence of the thousand. When Belshazzar tasted the wine, he gave orders to bring the gold and silver vessels which Nebuchadnezzar his father had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem, so that the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines might drink from them. (Daniel 5: 1-2)
  • Asher ("Death"). That night the Persians conquered Babylon and killed Belshazzar and freed Israel.
    Executed. That same night Belshazzar the Chaldean king was slain. (Daniel 5: 30)
    Covering Removed. They defeated Babylon by drying up the Euphrates and marching up the exposed riverbed under the unlocked gates which guarded the river entrance to the city and captured them.
  • Naphtali ("Resurrection"). Israel was set free. 2520 years later, Babylon was born again.
    New Name. Babylon becomes Babylon the Great.
    The Marriage. Babylon unites with the whore.
    Messianic Dream (Antichrist). Babylon will make another image and force the world to worship it while it takes over the temple of God. Satan, the king of Babylon will pretend to be the Christ.
  
  » Between the North East and the South West. Babylon lost power for 2520 years.
  » Diverted to the South West. He goes after the remnant after he was raised up at the end of time.
• Blessings. As Babylon persecutes the children of God, they are blessed.
  • Joseph ("Reproach Removed, Fruitful"). God announces that they are righteous and He makes them multiply in the final evangelism.
  • Manasseh ("Make Me Forget"). God forgets their sins and He will help them to forget this final persecution and the seven last plagues.
  • Benjamin ("Son of the Right Hand"). Jesus returns as the Son of the right hand to rescue them.
  » Water Dries Up (Euphrates River). In the sixth plague the river dries up so that the eastern kings can invade. This is Jesus and the Father coming in the seventh plague. On earth, Iran is east of Iraq and Europe is east of the United States.
• Second Death and Wrath of God. Babylon falls at the Second Coming when God comes from the east. Revelation 18 prophesies about this final judgment of Babylon.
  • Dan ("Serpent, Judged"). Babylon the Great will be crushed at the Second Coming. Satan, the dragon and great serpent will be captured and imprisoned.
  • Asher ("Death"). All the people of Babylon will be killed because they are wicked.
  • Naphtali ("Resurrection"). All the righteous will be resurrected and taken on a final exodus to heaven by the King of kings who comes from the east and dries up the rivers in the heavens.

Satan Falls to Earth 7000 Years and is The King of Babylon

The fall of Babylon is really the fall of Satan which began when he was expelled from heaven for 7000 years. Each phase of his fall is seen in the collapse of the human entities that he created to continue his rebellion. In turn, each of these follows a cycle of curses before they fall. Satan's fall is like a wheel within a wheel, each experiencing five curses before being shattered.

1. Flood (Sudden Terror). With an oath God promised that the earth would never be destroyed by water again.
2. Tower of Babel (Land Divided). This attempt at rebellion resulted in the scattering of the world into 70 nations. The terms of this curse suggests that the language was originally fractured into seven languages and these were further splintered as the centuries rolled by.
3. Nebuchadnezzar (Population Reduced). He was mad for seven years, living like a wild animal. All the other punishments were of great nations or global systems, I chose this as one of the major curses because the curse is ultimately about the fall of a created being who believes that he can be God. Satan fell and took one third of the angels to destruction. When Nebuchadnezzar uttered the same words he became the type of the punishment that Satan deserves. Therefore, it is my belief that during the millennium, Satan will be living like a wild animal and he will go mad.
4. Ancient Babylon (War and Ruled by Enemies). Here Satan is not a man, but a seven headed beast whose heads are systematically chopped off. Seven powers would begin with Babylon and they all fell with violence. Babylon fell and was ruled by Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome, Islam and Europe for the next 2520 years.
5. Babylon the Great (False Religions Fall). Babylon has now taken on the disguise of Rome and Rome began to legislate the fantasies of Satan. Augustus Ceasar started a cult to make gods out of living humans and the last king of Babylon will try to convince us to worship him.
   Satan is to be punished seven times during the fifth curse and their final crime begins with the murder of the Messiah. In another lesson we show how Israel suffers their five series of curses for rebellion and hostility. Their fifth curse merges with the fate of Babylon.
   » Vengeance for the Covenant. His final punishment began after Jesus Christ was murdered at his instigation and God shatters every institution that he creates.
   • Mount Vesuvius Erupts in 79 AD (Sudden Terror). The eruption destroyed the Roman legion that burned down the sanctuary while they were on vacation there.
   • Empire Splits in 330 AD (Land Reduced). The capital moved from Rome to Constantinople because of increasing threats from the Barbarians and Persians and the empire split into the Western and Byzantine empires.
   • Barbarian Invasion 411-568 AD (Beasts Takes Children). The continued attacks by Barbarians reduced the population and Rome gradually lost power to the Aryan invasion from the east.
   • First Fall of the Papacy in 1798 (Sword of Vengeance for the Covenant). The papacy fell with these prophetic words that signal which curse has fallen as vengeance is taken for the martyrs.
     If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leads into captivity shall go into captivity: he that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. (Revelation 13: 9-10)
   • Seven Last Plagues and The Second Coming (Sanctuary Destroyed, Exiled). The Second Coming is the last of the Seven Last Plagues. After this Satan is exiled and his kingdom and false religion are destroyed forever.
   » Two More Punishments. The five curses merge. Prison and hell fire complete the last two punishments.
6. Prison (Exile and Rest for the Earth). Satan is imprisoned for 1000 years as part of his judgment and experiences five cycles of the curses again in a short period of time.
   A flood of fire and brimstone destroys the citizens of Babylon and Babylon falls in a tangle of confusion and terror. The seven headed dragon is seized and chained and forced to live on a desolate prison planet. Any pretence of respect for his leadership that has been held by his fallen angels will dissolve and they will resort to taunting and ridicule, blame and cursing.
   Cursed, taunted and living like a wild animal among the stinking, rotting corpses, sleeping among worms and magots, the ambitious king of Babylon will go mad as he contemplates the destruction he has caused and the embarassing failure that he has become as he sought fame and honor at any price. Powerless, guilty and demoralized he will learn that he can never be God.
7. Hell Fire (Annhilation). The king of Babylon is destroyed. I will ridicule him forever.
