Kings Of Israel And Judah.
Only eight kings of Judah were good, but some did not remove all the traces of idolatry.
All the kings of Israel were evil and each line was generally replaced by assassination.
These men and women were guilty of killing the martyrs and the prophets.
Their husbands were corrupt, weak and spineless.
King Herod, Herodias and Salome (Matthew 14: 1-13).
- The Herod Dynasty.
Herod Antipas was the king of Judah appointed by the Romans.
The House of Herod ruled from 67 BC to 100 AD.
Herod Antipater was the first king (55-43 BC).
He was an Idumean from south east of Israel from the tribe of Esau, an Arab sheikh who assisted Julius Caesar and who were allowed to rule Israel.
Then Herod the Great (39-4 BC), his son ruled. Since he was not a Jew, he sought to gain favor by refurbishing the temple. It took 46 years (20 BC - 63 AD) and was completed 6 years before it ws destroyed.
Herod Archelaus, his son (4BC-6AD) was next. He ruled Judea, Samaria and Idumaea for 10 years until the Romans removed him.
Herod 2 Antipas, his brother (4BC-39AD) Tetrarch of Galilee and Perea, was ruling at the time of Jesus Christ. He was deposed and banished for cruelty.
His brother Philip, was Tetrarch of Iturea, Trachonitis, Gaulanitis, Batanea and Auranitis from 4 BC to 34 AD
Herod Antipater's wife was Herodias and her daughter was Salome. She was a cousin who married and divorced an uncle living in Rome, then married Philip, and then divorced Philip to marry Antipas.
This is the incest that John the baptist accused them of committing.
- John The Baptist.
John the Baptist was the prophet in the time of Jesus who was beheaded at a feast.
He was already in prison when Herod has a banquest. Her daughter Salome danced for him.
CIncest on his mind, Herod boasted that her would give her up to half his kingdom if she would dance for him.
Having conspired with her mother before hand, she said
"I want the head of John the Baptist on a platter".
He did not want to do this, but not wanting to look foolish in front of his guests, he complied.
And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.
And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.
And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.
(Matthew 14: 9-11)
» Babylon The Great.
Herodias and her daughter became types of the Babylon the great, riding on kings and controlling them who became guilty of the blood of the saints and martyrs.
King Ahab and Jezebel (2 Kings 9).
King Ahab was the king of Israel, the northern 10 tribes and is wife was Jezebel.
Asa and Jehoshaphath were kings of Judah and they were both good kings.
Elijah was the prophet during that period.
Jezebel slew the prophets of Israel and installed the prophets of Baal. The remaining righteous priests were in hiding.
The people were immersed to idolatry with no rghteous voices.
This is what has been done in the world.
Evolution is taught in schools and Germany had disallowed home schooling. Children have to go to school 6 days a week with only the day of the sun off (Sunday).
Canada has installed a government only program in 2006. America has done the same with the excuse that they are mainstreaming education.
In 1987 the Supreme Court ruled that creationism should not be taught, nor warn the children that it is just a theory and that creationism is another option by just saying that statement or putting a sticker in a book.
They will not let God to get a foot in the door.
Elijah Turns The Heart Of The Children To YHWH.
So Elijah sent a drought on the land for 3.5 years.
At the end of the period he invited Ahab, the prophets of Baal and all the people to come to Mount Carmel.
- The Invitation. They have broken the commandments and followed Baalim.
The Transgression.
And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father's house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the Lord, and thou hast followed Baalim.
Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel's table.
So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel.
(1 Kings 18: 18-20)
- Two Opinions. How long will you waffle between creation and evolution or Sabbath and Sunday?
The People Were Silent.
And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions?
if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
A Faithful Prophet. Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the Lord; but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men.
(1 Kings 18: 18-22)
- The God Who Answers By Fire. 450 prophets of Baal were to appeal to their god, then Elijah would speak to YHWH.
The one who answered by fire would be God.
- The Priests Of Baal.
The priests of Baal went first and they appealed to him from morning until evening, cutting themselves. So at noon Elijah mocked them.
Perhaps he is talking, or sleeping, maybe he is in the toilet, or watching TV.
Mocked.
And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.
Cutting. And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.
No Answer. And it came to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded.
(1 Kings 18: 27-29)
- Eliah Prepares The Offering.
Elijah prepared his offering, dug a trench, and doused it with four barrels of water three times to overflowing.
Repairing The Altar.
And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down.
12 Stones. And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the Lord came, saying, Israel shall be thy name:
Altar. And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed.
Water And Fire. And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood.
And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time.
And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time.
And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water.
(1 Kings 18: 30)
- God Answered Elijah.
The Prayer.
And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.
Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the Lord God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.
Fire!! Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.
(1 Kings 18: 36-38)
God answered him immediately and burned the bull, the stones, the dust and drank up the water!
- Praising God. The people turned back to God and began to worship God.
Then Elijah killed the prophets by the brook Kidron.
YHWH Is God!
And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The Lord, he is the God; the Lord, he is the God.
And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.
(1 Kings 18: 39-40)
» Babylon The Great.
Just as Pharaoh's magicians copied the miracles three times, at the end of time they will be able to copy this miracle by fire.
God will be answering with a bigger test.
Answers By Fire.
And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men
(Revelation 13: 13)
The Death Of Ahab and Jezebel.
Vengeance For The Martyrs.
And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the Lord, at the hand of Jezebel.
The Whole House Doomed. For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel:
And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah:
And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her. And he opened the door, and fled.
(2 Kings 9: 7-10)
- Killing Naboth. Jezebel stole the land of a poor man to give to Ahab who was sulking in bed because Naboth would not sell the land to him.
It would have been illegal to sell his inheritance.
Ahab Pouts And Sulks.
But Jezebel his wife came to him, and said unto him, Why is thy spirit so sad, that thou eatest no bread?
And he said unto her, Because I spake unto Naboth the Jezreelite, and said unto him, Give me thy vineyard for money; or else, if it please thee, I will give thee another vineyard for it: and he answered, I will not give thee my vineyard.
(1 Kings 21: 5-6)
- The King Gets What He Desires.
I Will Get It For You.
And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? arise, and eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.
(1 Kings 21: 7)
- Lying Witnesses. Jezebel conceived a plan to kill him and sets the leaders against him.
Jezebel Writes.
So she wrote letters in Ahab's name, and sealed them with his seal, and sent the letters unto the elders and to the nobles that were in his city, dwelling with Naboth.
Set Naboth On High. And she wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people:
And set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And then carry him out, and stone him, that he may die.
The Leaders Of The City. And the men of his city, even the elders and the nobles who were the inhabitants in his city, did as Jezebel had sent unto them, and as it was written in the letters which she had sent unto them.
(1 Kings 21: 8-11)
This was how the leaders of Israel framed Jesus by accusing Him of blasphemy and murdered Him.
- The Death Of Naboth. They planned to exalt him, accuse him of blasphemy and stone in to death.
Exalted.
They proclaimed a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people.
Blasphemy. And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died.
Stoned To Death. Then they sent to Jezebel, saying, Naboth is stoned, and is dead.
(1 Kings 21: 12-14)
- Possession. Ahab took possession of the property. Elijah met him there and announced his fate.
Naboth Is Dead.
And it came to pass, when Jezebel heard that Naboth was stoned, and was dead, that Jezebel said to Ahab, Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, which he refused to give thee for money: for Naboth is not alive, but dead.
Taking Possession. And it came to pass, when Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, that Ahab rose up to go down to the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, to take possession of it.
(1 Kings 21: 15-16)
The Death Of Ahab.
Three years later he was killed in battle with the king of Syria.
Pierced Between The Chariot.
And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.
And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot.
And there went a proclamation throughout the host about the going down of the sun, saying, Every man to his city, and every man to his own country.
So the king died, and was brought to Samaria; and they buried the king in Samaria.
Dogs Licked His Blood.
And one washed the chariot in the pool of Samaria; and the dogs licked up his blood; and they washed his armour; according unto the word of the Lord which he spake.
(1 Kings 22: 34-38)
The Death Of Jezebel.
Jehu was anointed to be the next king and he went to kill her.
Painted Face.
And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.
And as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, Had Zimri peace, who slew his master?
Throw Her Down. And he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who is on my side? who? And there looked out to him two or three eunuchs.
And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trode her under foot.
And when he was come in, he did eat and drink, and said, Go, see now this cursed woman, and bury her: for she is a king's daughter.
The Skull, Feet And Palms.
And they went to bury her: but they found no more of her than the skull, and the feet, and the palms of her hands.
Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the Lord, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:
And the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; so that they shall not say, This is Jezebel
(2 Kings 9: 30-37)
There was nothing to find that they could bury. She was trampled by horses. Then the dogs ravaged her instantly.
She died like a dog and was eaten by dogs until there was nothing left to be buried except the signs of dogs. She gave them diaharrea.
Normally the mark of the beast of a man is in his hand and forehead, but not the feet.
An animal has four legs.
» Babylon The Great.
The great whore will die in the sixth plague, after she convinces the kings of the earth to go to war against the righteous.
In two weeks the war efforts are devastated. They will return and they will tear her to pieces, just before the Lord comes.
Cannibalized And Burnt With Fire.
And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth
(Revelation 17: 16-18)
King Jehoash and Athaliah (2 Kings 11).
Jehoash was king of Judah at age 7, after his grandmother, Athaliah was assassinated.
She took possession of the nation for seven years after she had assassinated all the royal heirs when her son Ahaziah died.
The baby escaped when her aunt Jehosheba, hid him and took him to the temple for six years.
In the seventh year, the high priest Jehoiada, appointed a series of priests to guard him that year.
He showed them the king and made a covenant with them. One third guarded the king, one-third the gate, one third at the gate behind the guard.
They were all armed.
Then they brought the king out rejoicing and clapping and crowned him saying, "God save the king!"
When Athaliah heard the noise she went to investigate and saw the king and cried, "Treason, Treason!"
And Jehoiada had some men take her outside to kill her, so that she was not killed in the temple.
Then they brought him to the king's house to sit on the throne and made a covenant with God and the people. They removed all the idolatry in the land.
And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal, and brake it down; his altars and his images brake they in pieces thoroughly, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the house of the Lord.
(2 Kings 11: 18)
» Babylon The Great.
For 6000 years the King has been hidden. Even when He came 2000 years ago, He was disguised as a pauper.
At the end of the 6000 years we will crown him king and we will seize the harlot, throw her out of the house of the Lord and some of her own men will kill her.
King Manasseh (2 Chronicles 33 And 2 Kings 2).
Three generations before Babylon took over, the king repented, but it would not be enough to stop the desolation and exile by Babylon.
He was twelve years old when he became king and was more evil than all the nations around him.
- Corrupted The House Of The Lord. He brought every sort of abomination in God's house and corrupted the nation.
High Places.
For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
Altars In God's House. Also he built altars in the house of the Lord, whereof the Lord had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.
And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord.
Child Sacrifice. And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom:
Astrology, Witchcraft And Occult. also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.
Images In God's House. And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
(2 Chronicles 33: 3-7)
- Desolation: A Captive Repents.
They would not listen to God, so He gave him over to the Assyrians and while there he remembered God and repented.
Imprisoned By The Assyrians.
Wherefore the Lord brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.
Humbled Himself. And when he was in affliction, he besought the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,
Repented.
And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord he was God.
(2 Chronicles 33: 11-13)
- Repaired The House Of The Lord.
When he returned, he repaired the broken house of God, removed the idols and tried his best to reverse the damage.
He was not an influence on his son Amon who was assassinated after ruling only 2 years.
However, his grandson Josiah would be obedient.
Removed The Strange Gods And Idols.
And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the Lord, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the Lord, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.
And he repaired the altar of the Lord, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the Lord God of Israel.
(2 Chronicles 33: 15-16)
King Josiah (2 Kings 23).
Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign.
When he was eighteen he sent Shaphan, the scribe, to Hilkiah the high priest for money to repair the house of the Lord
In the process, they found the book of the law and discovered that they had transgressed.
The Book Of The Law.
And Hilkiah the high priest said unto Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the Lord. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.
And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the book of the law, that he rent his clothes.
(2 kings 22: 8, 11)
Josiah tore his clothes in grief.
So they went to the prophetess Huldah to enquire for God on behalf of the people.
Ask God.
Go ye, enquire of the Lord for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great is the wrath of the Lord that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.
(2 kings 22: 13)
God Responds.
The Curses Will Come.
Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read:
Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and shall not be quenched.
Josiah Spared.
But to the king of Judah which sent you to enquire of the Lord, thus shall ye say to him, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, As touching the words which thou hast heard;
Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the Lord, when thou heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the Lord.
Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word again.
(2 kings 22: 16-20)

the images and killed all the priests of the high places.
- Removing Idolatry From The Temple. All these sins will cause their desolation.
Burnt The Vessels Of Baal.
And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the Lord all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel.
(2 kings 23: 4)

And he brought out the grove from the house of the Lord, without Jerusalem, unto the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron, and stamped it small to powder, and cast the powder thereof upon the graves of the children of the people.
(2 kings 23: 5-6)
- Sodomites. He tore down the brothels of the sodomites.

High Places.
And he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beersheba, and brake down the high places of the gates that were in the entering in of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were on a man's left hand at the gate of the city.
Nevertheless the priests of the high places came not up to the altar of the Lord in Jerusalem, but they did eat of the unleavened bread among their brethren.
(2 kings 23: 7-9)
- Topeth. He removed child sacrifice and removed the chariots of the sun.
Child Sacrifice.
And he defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the children of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech.
Horses And Chariots Of The Sun.
And he took away the horses that the kings of Judah had given to the sun, at the entering in of the house of the Lord, by the chamber of Nathanmelech the chamberlain, which was in the suburbs, and burned the chariots of the sun with fire.
(2 kings 23: 10-11)

And the high places that were before Jerusalem, which were on the right hand of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Zidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the abomination of the children of Ammon, did the king defile.
(2 kings 23: 12-13)

Moreover the altar that was at Bethel, and the high place which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, both that altar and the high place he brake down, and burned the high place, and stamped it small to powder, and burned the grove.
And as Josiah turned himself, he spied the sepulchres that were there in the mount, and sent, and took the bones out of the sepulchres, and burned them upon the altar, and polluted it, according to the word of the Lord which the man of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these words.
Then he said, What title is that that I see? And the men of the city told him, It is the sepulchre of the man of God, which came from Judah, and proclaimed these things that thou hast done against the altar of Bethel.
And he said, Let him alone; let no man move his bones. So they let his bones alone, with the bones of the prophet that came out of Samaria.
And all the houses also of the high places that were in the cities of Samaria, which the kings of Israel had made to provoke the Lord to anger, Josiah took away, and did to them according to all the acts that he had done in Bethel.

Surely there was not holden such a passover from the days of the judges that judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel, nor of the kings of Judah;
Familiar Spirita And Wizards. Moreover the workers with familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the images, and the idols, and all the abominations that were spied in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might perform the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the Lord.
(2 kings 23: 20-22, 24)
- Passover. He turned his heart towards God totally.

But in the eighteenth year of king Josiah, wherein this passover was holden to the Lord in Jerusalem.
And like unto him was there no king before him, that turned to the Lord with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him.
Notwithstanding the Lord turned not from the fierceness of his great wrath, wherewith his anger was kindled against Judah, because of all the provocations that Manasseh had provoked him withal.
And the Lord said, I will remove Judah also out of my sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen, and the house of which I said, My name shall be there.
Now the rest of the acts of Josiah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.
Beheaded WIth His Own Sword. Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.
(1 Samuel 17: 49-51)
The last Champion with a sword kills the giant with the mark in his forehead striking his feet with a rock.
- Sword And Iron Spear (Verse 51). A sword and the rock struck the giant (Revelation 19: 15).
- Carcass Eaten By Birds And Beasts (Verse 46).
Goliath threatened a great massacre.
Threats Of Food For Birds.
And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.
And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field.
Goliath And The Philistines Were Food For the Birds.
This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
(1 Samuel 17: 43-44, 46)
The birds feast on the carcass of the wicked (Revelation 19: 17-18).
He was beheaded with his own sword and killed with his own boasts.
- 600, 60 and 6 (Verse 4, 7).
These numbers describe the terror and strength of the size of the giants.
This "number of man" also appears in the measurement of another giant statue (Daniel 3: 1) and the great beast of Revelation 13: 18.
These numbers are associated with Goliath's height and armor - man's strength. David chose to ignore a man-made armor (verse 38-39) and relied on the name of the Lord (verse 45-46).
600 Cubits Tall.
And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.
6 Fingers (Hand) And 6 Toes (Foot).
And he had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a target of brass between his shoulders.
And the staff of his spear was like a weaver's beam;
600 Shekels. and his spear's head weighed six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him.
(1 Samuel 17: 4-7)
David Defeated Four Giants.
And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam.
And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant.
And when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimeah the brother of David slew him.
These four were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
(2 Samuel 21: 20)
The end-time righteous have the name of God sealed in their forehead (Revelation 14: 1).
- The King From The East (verse 12). David was from Bethlehem, east of the battle positions on the dry river bed called the valley of Elah (verse 2-3). The kings from the east are those who represent the victorious forces of God crossing a dry river in a crucial battle.
Cyrus, the Persian king from the east, dried up the Euphrates to defeat Babylon in the Battle of Opis (539 BC).
YHWH and Jesus, the Kings from the east, dry up the Euphrates to defeat Babylon the Great in the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16: 12).
- Two Mountains (Verse 3). Both armies stand on a mountain with the battle in the valley.
In the end all the wicked stand in the valley as they are stoned with fire from Mount Zion (Revelation 20: 9).
At the ratification of the covenant the tribes stood on two mountains as they said the blessings from mount Gerizim in the south and curses from mount Ebal in the north (Deuteronomy 11: 29).

3.5 Jewish Kings | King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon |
Manasseh | Amon | Josiah | Jehoiakim | Jehoiachin | Zedekiah |
Two stories show how the last evil empire will be defeated.
- A Nation Of False Gods.
Nebuchadnezzar was the first boastful king of Babylon who did not honor YHWH.
Boasting With Pride.
The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?
(Daniel 4: 30)
He was sentenced to the nature of beasts until he repented.
In The Image Of Beasts.
And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
(Daniel 4: 32)

- Symbols (Revelation 13-17).
Revelation was not written in chapters, so Revelation 13: 17-18 and Revelation 14 are one continuous statement.
It shows the name of the beast, mark of the beast, image of the beast, number of his name (666), mark in the hand and mark in the forehead.
This can be understood by comparing what it means to the Name of God, image of God, number of His name, mark of God, mark in the hand and forehead.
666 And The Name Of The Beast.
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
(Revelation 13: 17-18)
144,000 With The Name Of God In Forehead.
And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
Image Of The Beast. Mark In Hand And Forehead.
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
(Revelation 14: 9, 11)
Name Of The Beast: Mystery Babylon.
And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.
(Revelation 17: 5)
Natures At War.
I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
Law Of Sin (Slavery).
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
(Romans 7: 21-25 KJV)
- A Nation Of Idolators.
Israel was corrupted by their king and turned away from God to worship idols.
Elijah Comes.
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:
And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
(Malachi 4: 5-6)
Manasseh repented. But this great repentance happened with the reforms of Josiah, his grandson, after three to four generations.
But the land will not be spared as Babylon falls in the third and fourth generation after Manasseh.
God had reformed a generation and prepared the people for living righteously and faithfully in captivity.
The reformed Jews in captivity remembered God. But those who went into captivity under the Assyrians without a nation-wide reformation are now history.
- A Great Reformation.
In the last days there will be a great reform, and turning away from idolatry as prophesied in the days of Elijah.
Josiah was the third and his son Jehoiakim was the fourth and taken by Babylon and he rebelled under Babylonian rule.
The last Jewish king Jehoiachin was imprisoned for 37 years and replaced with Babylonians like Zedekiah, the uncle of Nebuchadnezzar.
After 37 years he was released and treated kindly by Evilmerodach.
Generation 3.5.
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
(Exodus 20: 5)
After preaching for 3.5 years Jesus died in battle. Satan rejoiced. Jesus was not defeated, He only fell down in the dust.
Jesus, the righteous king, will not be defeated by the kings of Egypt, Assyria, Babylon the Great, or the nation of God/Magog when He battles them near the river Euphrates on the plain of Meggido - the battle of Armageddon.

King Of Babylon The Great (A Harlot And Her Daughters) (Revelation 17: 1-17)
All these kings and queens are a type of Babylon at the end.
- Mystery Babylon The Great.
Her power is a mystery.
he achieves it by bribe, grabbing for power, corrupting men, keeping such power in their hold and denying others an opportunity.
- The Mother of Harlots.
She is the daughter of harlots, other churches who once broke away but are returning and giving their allegiance to the pope.
Upholding doctrines that their forefathers found abhorrent.
- Full Of Fornication.
Its idolatrous union with the upper class of kings and its control of the lower classes makes it a prostitute in wheeling and dealing for power.
- The Abominations Of The Earth.
In tradng for lives of men and power, it attracts unscrouplous men like themselves who hang on to wealth like a necklace.
- Drunk With The Blood Of The Saints And Martyrs.
Jezebel killed the prophets and priests of YHWH and instituted the priests of Baal.
Heroidas asked for John the Baptist to be beheaded.
Athaliah killed all the males of her household of the royal line.
The papacy is responsible for the death of over 70 million people.
It had no military but it holds the power of life and eternal damation by refusing to forgive sins.
It does not have this hold over people as in the dark ages, but it hangs on to the illusion that it can affect people lives, so for that it holds the power of the people.
- Dressed In Purple, Scarlet, Gold. She does not wear the blue, the colors of the law.
The blue reminds the Jews of the laws on the tzitzit.
A Blue Cord.
Speak to the sons of Israel, and tell them that they shall make for themselves tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and they shall put on the tassel of each corner a cord of blue.
Remember The Law. It shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, so as to do them and not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you played the harlot. So that you may remember to do all My commandments and be holy to your God.
(Numbers 15: 38-39)
She accepts the purple (royalty by earthly kings), red (death and persecution not sacrifice) and gold (riches).
- Goes Into Perdition.
These are those who cannot be recovered once they have seen God and then rejected Him.
People like Lucifer and the angels, Judas and the "man of sin" who is trying to usurp the power of God like Lucifer.
Not For Angels.
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
(Hebrews 6: 4-6)
The Man Of Sin.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
(2 Thessalonians 2: 3)
One Who Draws Back And Rejects Christ.
But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
(Hebrews 10: 39)
Judas.
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
(John 17: 12)
The Beast.
And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
(Revelation 17: 11)
Beast.
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
(Revelation 17: 8)
These are tempted by wealth into perdition because they cannot let go of it.
They were never tempted to accept Christ and then reject Him. They never saw anyone except money, the root of all evil.
The Rich.
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
(1 Timothy 6: 9)
Ungodly Men.
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
(2 Peter 3: 7)
This is why the scriptures say it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom.
The Foolishness Of God Is Wisdom.
For it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the cleverness of the clever I will set aside.
Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of the age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
(1 Corinthians 1: 19)
