Words Have Life
The testimony of Genesis 1 and John 1 is that words become life when those words are uttered by the voice of God.
When God was on Sinai, the people not only heard the sound of God, they saw His voice.
Sound Can be Seen.
And all the Nation saw the voices and the flames, and the sound of the Shofar, and the mountain smoking, and the nation was afraid, and they trembled, and they stood far away.
(Exodus 20: 18)
The Jews have also believed that the alphabet is sacred.
Since it is the visible sound of God, I believe that it must testify something about God.
So I examined this alphabet after I heard that the last letter was shaped like a cross and the first letter was an animal with horns.
When I researched the Hebrew alphabet, I did not see a cross in any of the letters, but I learned that each letter has a meaning.
There are 22 letters in the Hebrew language and about 5 styles of writing these letters.
Each letter has a specific numeric value.
Since Hebrew is read from right to left, the alphabet is presented in that order.
- K'tav Ashuri (Assyrian Script). This is the square script currently used to write the sacred text.
» STA"M (Sifrei, Torah, Tefillin, and Mezuzos). This is special style of Ashuri with crowns above some letters that is actually used to write the sacred text in the Mezuzah, Torah and Tefillin.
The evidence is that the Assyrian square script was adopted in the days of Ezra after the Babylonian captivity around 590 BC.
It was only at the directive of the Talmud, which was written after 600 AD, that this was designated as the chosen script for biblical writings.
Other modern styles are related to the Ashuri square script.
» K'tav Rashi. Rabbinic commentary on a text may be written in this script.
» Printed Book. Most printed books use this script that is basically a style of the Ashuri.
» Cursive. This is the common script. It is a recent innovation which has existed for about 200 years.
In all scripts except Ivri, five letters have a special letter (a final form) that replaces them when they are used at the end of a word. We have colored these letters (Kaf, Mem, Nun, Pe, Tzadi).
- K'tav Ivri (Ancient Hebrew Script). This is the style of writing that existed during the time of Moses. It does not resemble the current style, but the letters had the design features for which I was searching.
- Other Related Scripts.
» Phoenician Script. This script may be the root of Hebrew, Aramaic, Samaritan, Arabic, Greek and Latin.
» Aramaic Script. Ivri is similar to the Aramaic script that was prevalent in the region.
» Samaritan Script. This script was used by the northern tribes who returned from captivity.
» Neo-Punic. This language was spoken in Carthage and parts of North Africa as late as the fourth century AD.
Three letters have two different forms (Tet, Samekh and Tau).
The Plan of Salvation in the Ivri Script.
Although the letters of all scripts seem to have the same meaning, numerical value and order, we will look specifically at the IVRI script which was in use at the time of Moses and the first sanctuary.
These letters visually and in meaning prophesy about the Plan of Salvation so some important religious significance has been lost in the picture meaning of the letters given by Babylon.
The letters appear to be grouped in four sets which catalogue Jesus Christ's journey from heaven to earth for the purpose of executing the Plan of Salvation and fulfilling the covenant with Adam and Eve and Abraham.
Psalm 119.
This Psalm is grouped in alphabetical order. Individually, only some seem to reflect the meaning of the letters.
However, the groups of letters tell the story of a righteous man who loves the law of God and is afflicted.
Noah.
Apparently, this is the same plan that was followed by Noah as he preached to a perishing world.
The Feast of Tabernacles (Succos).
The alphabet tells the story of the Bull who left heaven on the feast of Tabernacles to tabernacle with humans while He completed all the works of salvation.
The explanation we give below presents Christ as going to the temple as built by Moses to be offered as the sacrifice.
-
God Revealed to Man.
He was the Word of God who became human flesh to tabernacle among us so that He could reveal God to us.
Jesus is the Word of God.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, the glory of the only begotten Father, full of grace and truth.
(John 1: 1, 14)
Tabernacles: Building the Sukkah.
The first part of preparing for the feast is to build a temporary shelter where we will live and eat for the next seven days.
So, in the order of the alphabet, Christ came as the bull from the throne of God and tabernacled with humans. He was actually born on the Feast of Tabernacles.
Then 30 years later, He came to the tent or tabernacle at Jerusalem to be ordained as the High Priest who will make peace with God and mankind.
For 3.5 years He lifted up the name of God and preached that He was the doorway to heaven. Then, in the final week, He lifted up the veil of the door and entered through the door of the courtyard where He was to be sacrificed.
Aleph (Ox, Bull, Strength, Leader).
He was the strong Ox who came from heaven to submit Himself as the offering for sin and to bear the yoke or burden of sin for humanity.
Jesus is the Alef.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord, God. who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.
(Revelation 1: 8)
» The Ox With Two Horns. The symbol is the head of an ox with two horns. It represented the two natures (twins) of the one who would be the sacrifice.
The ox was used instead of the lamb or goat because the ox is the clean animal that is one of the four faces of the cherubim at the throne of God.
It is also the main sacrifice during Succos. He is the ox sacrificed at the ordination ceremony of the High Priest. He is the High Priest who was ordained.
Bet or Beis (Tent, House). Jesus tabernacled or lived with us, after clothing Himself in the tent of human flesh. He built a sukkah and lived in it with us.
The Incarnation.
Therefore, when He comes into the world He says, sacrifice and offering You have not desired, but a body You have prepared for Me; In whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have taken no pleasure. Then I said, look I have come (in the scroll of the book it is written of Me) to do Your will, O God.
(Hebrews 10: 5-7 and Psalm 40: 7)
Gimel (Camel, Deal, Recompense, Lift Up). He came to lift up, magnify or glorify the name of God.
» Lift Up. Offerings were lifted up and some were stretched up like wings.
Dalet (Door, Pathway, Enter, Branch). He is the Branch and the door to heaven. He came to show us the way to God.
He or Hei (Window, Fence, Reveal). He came and opened the window of heaven so that He could reveal the Father to humans.
Since this letter also has the idea of a fence, it is as if He came to rip apart the veil or fence that hides God in the Most Holy Place so that He could open a window to reveal God.
Christ Opened Up the Most Holy Place.
And look, the veil of the temple was torn in two and the earth shook and the rocks were split.
The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised.
(Matthew 27: 51-52)
» Window. When the curtain was torn at His death, a window opened to heaven and the door to the Holy Place was opened to all, because we are all priests.
Jesus completed this portion of His mission to reveal the Father to the universe and to keep the promises of God during His life and especially through His 3.5 years of ministry to Israel.
Passover and Tabernacles: The Ox is Selected.
The bull is an offering that is used as a sin and guilt offering for the priest who must first be spotless before he made the offerings for the people.
The bull was also the principal peace offering given during the Feast of Tabernacles.
Psalm 119: 1-48 (Righteous Example).
This is the story of a righteous man who loves all of the law and is determined to be a faithful example and to teach others to do so despite opposition. It seems to be the vow Jesus Christ made about how He would glorify God when He came to earth as a human.
The Great Teacher.
With my lips I have told of all the ordinances of your mouth.
(Psalm 119: 13)
Noah: Messenger from God.
He preached for 120 years while he built "a house", with one door and one window that would be lifted up on the water as a shelter for those who entered and were fenced in from the danger outside.
» Animal House (Alef to Vav). [ Ox House Camel Door Window Nail ].
The first six letters tell the story of building a house with one window and one door for the clean and unclean animals.
-
Wrath: He Submitted to the Curses as the Wages of Sin.
He suffered the wrath of Satan as specified by the curses.
After submitting silently to an unjust trial, He was nailed to the cross, tortured, mocked and cut off from the land of the living by the wicked who twisted around Him like a coiled snake.
Tabernacles: The Beating of The Willows.
Christ is the Tree of Life that was cut down.
This act was represented by cutting the branches of green trees, tying them together, lifting them up and waving them.
This act of lifting up and waving is the same as lifting up the cross and having the arms spread out like wings.
Beating the Willow.
Five of the most beautiful willows are chosen to highly exalt God as they did in Exodus 15: 1-2. They are bound together and beaten on the ground five times until the leaves fell off. Then they were put away safely so that they are not stepped on.
These five branches represent His four limbs and His spine.
The branches were beaten until the leaves fell off to symbolize His beating until His skin tore off.
Vav or Waw (Nail, Hook, Peg).
The meaning is strictly reserved for the hooks or pegs that kept the curtains of the tabernacle in place.
The curtains are a symbol of His body. The hooks in the four columns are the four nails pinning His body to the cross.
He was captured, tied and possibly taken by hooks to be nailed to the cross.
Zayin (Weapon, Cut off). After His arrest Peter used a sword to cut off the ear of the high priest's servant. However, this probably refers to His overall mission to be "cut off" for sin.
Then after the sixty two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing ...
(Daniel 9: 26)
» Knife. They were used to cut up the meat offering.
» Cut Off. Circumcision is a picture of the crucifixion or the "cutting off" of the human flesh with a knife.
» The Weapon that Cut Off the Messiah.
Notice that the symbol changed. However, it is basically two horizontal bars at the top and bottom with a vertical bar in between.
The Aramaic symbol looks like a cross on top of a bar. That was the weapon. But, what did it cut off?
We know that Christ had both a human and divine nature. This dual nature was represented by the two horizontal bars as it was represented by the middle matzah broken in two.
However, God cannot die so the natures are represented as being separated.
The human nature died at the moment the Holy Spirit was released. This was also represented by the releasing of the bottom matzah. This is the horizontal line at the bottom.
The Five Willows.
They were cut down along with other green branches which made the lulav.
Chet or Het (Fence in, Hedge, Chamber, Separate).
The Aramaic version was a fence with three rails like the three stacks of matzah. Although He felt deserted, the Father and the Holy Spirit made a hedge around Him so that Satan was prevented from going further than the curse allowed.
He was separated from the disciples by a violent mob and taken to the chambers of the priest for an unjust trial.
On the cross the jeering mob made a fence around Him by besieging Him.
The Ladder Fence. Two symbols were used that had the meaning of a fence. The Aramaic version best reveal the differences.
The first shows that when Christ left heaven to come to earth, one railing was missing. The fence or ladder was not secure.
The second shows that the security was reestablished at this time. What happened after this point?
- Gethsemane. He rebuilt the relationship with God while He was in the garden of Gethsemane when He voluntarily spilled His blood. We were justified as far as God was concerned. When He was finished they came to arrest Him and that is when Peter used the weapon to cut off the ear of the servant.
- Calvary. He purchased us from the Satan, the dragon, kidnapper and slave holder on Calvary when He submitted to the gruesome demands of the curse after He was arrested.
Salvation Science.
If you have read our discussion on DNA replication and how the process mirrors the Plan of Salvation you will see that this symbol represents the DNA being copied next to the perfect Seed of God that came from heaven.
Christ came to earth after He had severed the bonds and broken Himself into two strands so that He could be the model to replicate the human race.
The broken human half was used to rebuild and repair the degenerate and mutated seed of Adam's children.
Tet (To Twist, Snake, Surround. Hidden Good).
Notice the two conflicting meanings that accurately express how Christ was seen by the universe on the cross.
He was seen as a snake, but His righteousness and goodness were hidden.
Righteous Judgment.
But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his atature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."
(1 Samuel 16: 7)
We saw a snake, but God looked inside and saw a perfect Man.
The Aramaic form of the letter is a besieged cross, surrounded by the coil of the snake.
He was besieged by an angry mob who treated Him like a serpent.
The Snake on the Cross. As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up. so that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life.
(John 3: 14-15)
The Snake Lifted Up.
Then the Lord said to Moses, "Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a standard; and it shall come about that everyone who is bitten will live when he looks at it".
(Numbers 21: 8)
» The Twisted Wick. Wicks were manufactured from the worn out linen garments (breeches and girdles) of the priests. They were torn into strips and twisted into wicks and used to light the menorah.
By the time Jesus became the sacrifice, He was beaten and torn and His human garment of skin was worn out.
So they stripped Him of His clothes and honor, cut Him up in strips, twisted His words and character, then offered Him up for the burning criticism and condemnation.
Suspended between heaven and earth, He was the burning light.
The Five Willows.
The willows were tied together and beaten on the ground.
Yod or Yud (Closed Hand, Fist, Power, Deed, Work).
The closed hand seemed to hold a nail.
However, in this angry treatment, He was actually working for our salvation. He closed His hand and hid His power by not fighting back (Habakkuk 3: 4).
The Five Willows.
The beaten willows were lifted up and put away when they were done.
When His work was done Jesus, the Man treated like a serpent, had cured the world of the deadly snake bite we inherited from Eden.
Passover: Ox Prepared In the Outer Court.
Next He entered the outer court as the ox where He was seized by the priests, tied and strung up on hooks and cut up in an unfair trial.
Then He was given over to the serpent when they handed Him to Rome.
At this point His work was done. He had obtained our pardon in Gethsemane and now He was in the clutches of Satan.
Psalm 119: 49 - 80 (Reproach Heaped on Him).
This phase to the end is definitely of a man in despair who has been brought before kings and afflicted.
This section is the phase where Jesus was on trial and then placed on the cross.
Afflicted.
This is my comfort in my affliction, that your word has revived me.
The arrogant utterly deride me, yet I do not turn aside from your law.
The cords of the wicked have encircled me, but I have not forgotten Your law.
The arrogant have forged a lie against me; with all my heart I will observe Your precepts.
(Psalm 119: 50-51, 61, 69)
Noah: Ark Closed.
When his work was done Noah closed the door of the ark and it was fastened shut by an angel of the Lord.
God separated those inside from the wicked mob outside.
» Loading Ark (Zayin to Lamed). [ Cut Off Chamber Surround Closed Hand Open Hand Cattle Goad ].
The next six letters tell the story of herding the animals into a separate chamber and closing the door, cutting off anyone outside.
-
Rejection: He Was Adrift Among the Turbulent Sea of Humanity.
He also suffered the rejection by man and God and actually died of a broken heart.
He stayed on the cross, working for the salvation of the throng of people who surrounded Him.
While lifted up on the cross, He drew the sea of wicked humanity to Him and God caught them in His fish net so that He could save them.
Tabernacles: The Water Libation Ceremony (The Coming of the Wind and Water).
The priest went to the pool of Siloam to fetch water with a procession of people back to the water gate at the same time a procession went to the Kidron valley to gather willows whose swishing sounded like the wind.
When they returned the trumpet sounded and the flute player called "the pierced one" stood up and led the procession to the temple where he blew the signal for the water and wind to enter the temple.
This is the coming of the Holy Spirit.
The Pierced One is Kaf, the One with His arms spread open like wings on the cross.
Kaf or Chaf (Arm, Wing, Open Hand, Cover). This symbol represents a side view of the cross. His hands were opened up and his arms stretched out on the cross as He covered our sins.
» Wings of Abomination. Look at this prophecy about when the Messiah would appear. It describes the cross as "the wings of abomination on soaring heights".
» Invitation to the People. Incredibly, at this point an invitation was extended to the turbulent sea to accept the gift of the calm waters of the Holy Spirit.
Lamed (Cattle Goad, Staff, Learn, Teach). As the good Shepherd, He would use His staff to guide us to safe, fenced-in pastures.
» Prod. Cattle prods were used to guide the animals to be used as sacrifices. Teaching is seen as a form of guiding and prodding students to where you want them to go.
This is the work of the Holy Spirit.
Mem (Water, Sea, Ocean, Chaos). Turbulent water is a symbol of the wicked. This was the chaotic mob scene during His crucifixion. He would save the wicked sea by an infusion of fresh spring water, which symbolizes the Holy Spirit. He can calm the sea.
» Laver. The water is the laver where the fish come to wash themselves.
The Holy Spirit cleanses us.
Nun (Moving Fish, Serpent Fish, Life, Propagate, Increase). This represents the sea of humanity. They were the fish that the disciples should catch. He would gather them from out of the chaos of the abyss in which they were drowning and He poured out His life as blood and water for them.
» Sinners. In this view of the sanctuary as an ark on a rough sea, the sinners are seen as fish being caught by hooks and lured or guided into nets.
Passover: The Burning Carcass.
Then, He was placed on the altar with wood for the fire where He was burned for our sins as Satan stood around and watched.
As the people walked around in the outer court, they watched the burning of the sacrifice.
His arms were stretched out and nailed and His carcass was thrown outside in the north of the altar.
Psalm 119: 81-112 (The Wicked Triumph). He cries for help as the wicked triumph, but the law reminds Him of God's faithfulness.
Have You Forsaken Me?
My eyes fail with longing for your word, while I say, "When will You comfort me?"
All Your commandments are faithful. They have persecuted me with a lie, help me!
(Psalm 119: 82, 86)
Noah: Riding Above The Turbulent Sea.
He was never able to save anyone except His family. Noah was as ineffective at saving people as the lambs, bulls and goats were ineffective in permanently removing sin from its source.
Yet the testimony of God seems to suggest that by becoming the Ark of safety God was able to do what no human could.
He saved us while we were bent on wandering away or being swept away by the rough sea.
» On the Ocean (Mem to Tzadi). [ Water Fish Support Eye Mouth Fish Hook ].
The next six letters tell the story of riding the waves of the ocean under the watchful eye and support of God.
-
Triumph: He Kept The Covenant and Was Consumed For Our Sins.
He now has the tools to save us because He triumphed. These steps are how He will do it.
The victory was celebrated in the feast at the Passover seder.
Everyone has been invited to see, taste, experience and eat the life giving meal provided by God to satisfy our hunger for righteousness.
In the Holy Place were the holy objects that symbolized this phase. The menorah decorated with eyes shaped like almonds.
At the table of shewbread the priests chewed the bread and drank the wine while outside the people spit on Him and mocked and cursed Him.
Before the altar of incense the priest ministered at the place where the altar and the ark formed the sign of the Tau cross.
Tabernacles: The Illumination of the Temple.
The priests lit the menorahs in the court after the water ceremony and celebrated all night.
Then at cock crow they went to the east gate and they faced the sanctuary and said these words that symbolized almost every letter in this phase.
Samech (Support, Pillar, Turn).
Our fathers who were in this place,
Kof (Back of Head).
they turned their back upon the Sanctuary of Jehovah,

Tzadi (Desire) and Shin (Teeth, Consume).
and their faces toward the east,
Pe (Mouth).
and they worshipped towards the rising sun;
Ayin (Eye).
but as for us, our eyes are towards the Lord.
Saints.
This statement is interesting because during Succos, the people do the opposite when they wave the lulav. They face the east.
At Passover they were in the darkness, facing east when they rejected Jesus Christ.
Now, when the light shines on them, they face the west.
As we are illuminated, we will illuminate the world.
Tabernacles: The Four Species.
Also notice how these letters are represented by the four species which were lifted up and waved during the ceremony.
Samech or Samekh (Prop, Support, Lean on, Uphold, Turn). This symbol also looks like the cross, but it has three arms.
The Aramaic form of the letter shows this more clearly.
» Supporting Mother.
One final act that He did before He officially became the sin offering was memorialized in a law, and possibly in this symbol.
He formally separated Himself from His mother, but then He turned to Mary and said "Behold your son" as He gave her to the care of John.
He arranged for the care and support of His mother after He was gone.
When Jesus then saw His mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, He said to His mother, "Woman, see, your son!".
Then He said to the disciple "See, your mother!".
From that hour the disciple took her into his own home.
(John 19: 26-27)
» Supported by Father.
He appeared to have no support. Although Jesus cried out that He was forsaken by the Father and all His loved ones, yet we know from the symbols of the three matzah together at the Passover Seder, as properly kept by the Jews, that the Father and the Holy Spirit were there to silently prop Him up and support Him.
So He was not adrift on the turbulent sea, He was being supported by His Father while They rode out the storm together, lifted up on the cross.
» The Strongman.
The Yom Kippur ritual requires the support of a strongman.
All the feasts were merged at the cross so Christ had Simon of Cyrene to help Him carry the cross and He had the Father.
Saints.
We are supported by the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Ayin (Eye, See, Experience, Fountain, Spring). When God came to judge humanity at the cross, He did not find a sinner. Instead, He found a helpless Man who was righteous.
This Man was made our great High Priest, because He cleansed us and personally experienced our sorrows and is a good eyewitness of the sorrows on the earth.
One Who is Sympathetic Because He Understands.
For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.
Therefore, let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
(Hebrews 4: 15-16)
» A Well of Water.
This is not the first time we have seen a combined symbol of an eye and a spring.
- Weeping Eyes.
According to Zechariah, the Menorah which is decorated with eyes, has pipes which feed into an inexhaustible source.
This well is His eye, filled with water and crying tears.
- Bleeding Side. Zechariah also says that this spring has two fountains. One cleanes sin and the other removes impurities.
A Spring of Blood and Water.
In that day a fountain will be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for impurity.
(Zechariah 13: 1)
This eye is the hole made into His side from which a spring of blood and water poured out.
- Bleeding Pores. The spring first opened up voluntarily in Gethsemane as blood seeped through His pores, which is the veil of His flesh.
A New and Living Way.
Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus,
by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil that is His flesh.
(Hebrews 10: 19-20)
Myrtle: 3 Hadas (Eyes). The three might represent the Father, Son and Holy Spirit who were there.
Saints.
We get to know Him when we experience His suffering and we become better witnesses.
Pe or Fe (Mouth, Speak, Word). As the High Priest He prayed for the forgiveness of our sins.
Willow: 2 Aravah (Mouth). The two willows might be the two lips of the mouth. It may also represent our two intercessors. Christ who is the High Priest and the Holy Spirit who is the constant companion who helps us express our prayers.
Saints.
As witnesses we earnestly spread the Gospel with our testimony.
Tzadi or Tsadde (Fish Hook, Harvest, Desire). He has baited a fish hook with which He plans to catch a great harvest. When we desire Him we will come to Him because He desires us.
Saints.
Jesus will become the desire of nations when we go fishing for the harvest.
Fishermen.
... Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.
(Matthew 4: 19)
» Hooks. The offering was hung on hooks and prongs were used to turn the offering as it burned.
Kof (Back of Head, Behind, The Least, Circuit).
There are several meanings that seem to be related to the Hakkafot.
The Hakkafah is a processional circuit made around the Torah while holding the lulav, reciting Psalm 118 and saying ,"Lord save us, please!". This is done every day of Succos and seven times on the seventh day (Hoshana Rabbah).
» Circular Motion, Circuit of Space or Time. He will save us. This is the Hakkafah.
» Back of Head. He has thrown our sins behind Him as we should also turn our backs on rebellion.
He reveals the back of His head as He passes by.
» Eye of a Needle. What He did was to thread a camel (Gimel) through the eye of a needle. He carefully negotiated a path between two extremes as He carried the burden of our sins.
» Sharks Circling.
The people swam around Him like fish as they passed by to view the spectacle.
Saints.
We make a circuit around the world to spread the Gospel to all nations, inviting even the least.
Resh (Head, Highest). He became the highest among all principalities and powers with the power to dismiss all our accusers.
Head of All Authorities.
and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority.
When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.
(Colossians 2: 10, 15)
Debt.
Having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us, and He has taken it out of the way having nailed it to the cross.
Debt Paid. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.
(Colossians 2: 14-15)
Citron: 1 Etrog (Heart). The heart is really the head out of which will grow the fruit of the Spirit.
Etrog is an old Aramaic word which means, "that which shines".
It may be related to one of the two stones, the thummim (perfect ones) and urim (lights and stars).
Saints.
We will lift up Jesus to the world. The church will be the head at this time.
» Head. He was the King of Israel. These words were written on the titulus above His head.
Sin or Shin (Teeth, Consume). He was eaten up as the broken bread and wine at a feast scheduled by God.
The meal that Satan intended to permanently separate us from God, was a meal that saved us. We were not eating from the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil, we were eating from the Tree of Life.
Like godless jesters at a feast, they gnashed at me with their teeth.
(Psalm 35: 16)
The Passover Seder was the Manna sent from heaven to give life to the world. At this unique Passover, God established His name.
Given the Name of God.
You shall eat in the presence of the Lord your God at the place where He chooses to establish His name.
(Deuteronomy 14: 23)
Now, we can have eternal life if we also eat His life by eating His words.
Eat My Words.
If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish and it, and it will be done for you.
If you keep My commandments you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.
(John 15: 7, 10)
Eat My Life.
So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.
"He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
(John 6: 53-54)
Words are powerful building blocks in the hands of God. Through sound or words He created the universe.
Through the Word in living flesh, He will recreate us.
Saints.
We eat the bread and drink the cup of Passover to indicate that we accept Jesus Christ.
Tau or Tav (Sign, Covenant, Seal).
Notice that the last letter resembles the cross and this symbol or shape is regarded as the sign and seal of the covenant. With His death on the cross He completed the covenant and sealed us with God.
The Covenant Sealed.
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
(Daniel 9: 24-25)
According to Daniel, the Jews had 490 years from the restoration of the temple to introduce the Messiah Prince of the Covenant.
The work of the nation ends at this point. Their Tau has come.
He began as the strong Ox who came from heaven and submitted to the yoke of sin. This burden ended with His death on the Tau cross.
For thousands of years and since Creation the Jews have understood that the Hebrew letter Tau is the sign or seal of God.
They believe that this seal is written in ink on the righteous and in blood on the wicked.
Jesus is the Tau and The Sign of the Covenant.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
(Revelation 22: 13)
» Sabbath Sign and Seal.
It seems that the last in a series is a sign and seal.
As the final day, the Sabbath is the sign and seal of the covenant of God.
Jesus is the sign and seal of God because He is the last Word.
When He returns for the last time to rescue us, it is with signs to rescue those that are sealed.
Palm: 1 Lulav (Spine). The center spine of the palm must represent this upright cross.
They recite this blessing when they take the lulav.
Blessed are You, G-d ... who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us to take the lulav.
» The Rainbow Sign. When Noah made the covenant with God after the flood, it wasa sign that seemed to stretch from one end of the earth to another.
The Bow in the Cloud.
I will set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth.
(Genesis 9: 13)
» The Sign On Cain.
This earliest languages known have this final letter in the shape of a cross and they all have the same meaning - a sign.
So the best evidence is that the mark that God placed on Cain to protect him was a Tau (Genesis 4: 15).
Cain had committed the same crime as the people did at the crucifixion, they had killed their innocent brother. Jesus took the mark of the Tau for them.
» The Sign Of The Son Of Man.
This Tau cross must be the sign of One who came as the Son of Man.
Saints.
We are sealed. All the signs indicate that God will save us.
Passover: Rest from Sin and Slavery.
God came to inspect the sin offering during the three hours of darkness.
He turned His back as He was passing by while we stood in the cleft of the Rock and like Moses we saw the back of His head (Exodus 33: 19-23).
Outside was Christ on the cross praying for our forgiveness, but at the temple the offering was taken in the Holy Place before God.
Psalm 119: 113-176 (God is Just). He clings to the character of God which is expressed in the law.
The disappointments by God and the triumph of the wicked are all answered by trusting in the laws of God.
I Trust You, God.
You are my hiding place and my shield, I wait for Your word.
(Psalm 119: 114)
Noah: Rest.
He landed on the highest peak and opened the window and sent out a dove so that he could see if the waters had subsided.
Christ also sent out a dove when He triumphed. At first, the stream of water pouring out from His side was a promise that the Holy Spirit would be sent and He fulfilled that promise 50 days later at Shavu'ot (Pentecost) when the waters had subsided.
At Shavu'ot the waters were ready to receive Him. 3000 Jews converted in one day.
» Out Of The Ark (Kof to Tav). [ Circuit Head Consume Sign ].
The last four letters are the story of making a circuit of one year, landing on the highest mountain, eating the sacrifice and making the sign of the covenant, which was a rainbow.
The Mark Of God.
The high priest is consecrated by anointing with the special anointing oil made by Moses (Exodus 30: 22-33).
According to Jewish tradition a small amount of the oil is poured on the one being consecrated and applied on the forehead between his eyes by a finger drawing the form of a particular shape.
This tradition proves that the Ivri script was in use from Moses to David because the Ashuri script does not have these shapes.
Cross.
The priest is anointed while drawing the form of an "X", the letter Tav.
Anointing The High Priest.
And thou shalt put the mitre upon his head, and put the holy crown upon the mitre.
Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him.
(Exodus 29: 6-7)
The King Bears His Cross.
And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was Jesus Of Nazareth The King Of The Jews.
(John 19: 17, 19)
The criss-cross parallel lines of the whip marks formed this letter.
Crown.
The kings are anointed with the same oil but it is applied in the shape of a crown, the vertical zigzag lines of a "W", the form of the letter Shin.
Crown Of Thorns.
And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
(Matthew 27: 29)
The random zig-zag shape of the thorns formed this letter. The whip marks could also form it.
The Messiah is the "anointed one". When He was baptized in the Jordan at the beginning of His ministry He was also baptized by the Holy Spirit.
However, He also closed His ministry with another baptism and anointing.
The Self-Sacrificing Anointed One.
He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
(Matthew 27: 42)
However, Jesus could not come down from the cross if He was the Priest-King of Israel. He must receive the mark of God - the cross and the crown.
Those who receive the mark of God will be loyal and will obey God to the bitter end.
Courage.
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
(Matthew 10: 38-39)
Self-Sacrificing.
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
(Matthew 16: 24)
If you take up your cross, you will be worthy and you will wear the crown as a child of God.
Royalty.
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
(Revelation 5: 10)
Children Of God.
And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
(Revelation 14: 1)
Receiving the mark of God belongs to those who are obedient, but it is so much more than just believing in God and keeping the Sabbath.
The priest were concerned about keeping the Sabbath while they orchestrated the crucifixion (John 19: 31). The devils also believe and tremble (James 2: 19).
Those who are worthy of receiving the mark will lay down their lives for the honor of God.
Is there a name of God that includes these two letters?

 |
At the time of Christ, the Romans were in power but they had absorbed the Greek culture, language and religion.
Many of the people, including the Jews, spoke Greek and wrote documents like the New Testament in Greek.
So when Jesus gave the vision to John why did He use the "alpha and Omega" and not the "Aleph and Tau" as the letters to symbolize His role as "the beginning and the end", especially when the Tau is so rich with meaning?
- Hebrew: Alef and Tau. The Hebrew period extended from the Alef to the Tau and ended with the Tau cross.
- Greek: Alpha and Omega. Since the language was in Greek He did not want to cause confusion in His description, although the Greek also had a letter Tau.
- Both. By the time the prophecy was given, the Alef and the Tav had run its course and the Jews had done what they were called to do. However, just like the millennium, the end is not yet.
There is still history to unfold under the rulership of a Roman-Greek kingdom in a period in which "the mystery of God" will be unfolded.
The Final Form Of The Word At The End Of Time
Although the Jews have settled on the Ashuri script as being the official one, yet for two symbolic and practical reasons I must believe that the Hebrew/Aramaic script is the holy script used at Sinai and they changed to Ashuri after the Babylonian captivity.
First, God would never let them take something taught by His arch enemies Babylon and Assyria, especially since the script is sacred.
He did not want them to be corrupted by their false gods, religion or culture.
The purpose of exile is to remember YHVH, not fall in love with false gods or the ways of the Gentiles.
Second, the fact that this was the common script used by Moses is proof for me.
The Jews get around this fact by concluding that the Ashuri script was given on Mount Sinai, but because they sinned God changed to the Hebrew script.
Part of their reasoning is based on oral legends about events at Sinai that makes sense with the Ashuri script and not the K'tav Ivri.

Revealed Prophecy |
Sealed Prophecy |
There are two legends associated with these letters.
I am going to assume that the legends are correct.
- Legend: The Final Form (Resurrection).
The final form is a different version of the letter that is used when the letter is at the end of a word, just as a captial letter is a different form used at the beginning of a sentence in English. Only five letters had a final form.
The Talmud claims that there were final forms of letters given in the original Torah, but since the K'tav Ivri does not have any final forms it could not have been the original script of the Torah.
» Sealed Mystery of God (The End of the Word of God is the End of the World).
However, since final forms existed on Mount Sinai, I must conclude that the K'tav Ivri had final forms that were kept secret.
Why did God not reveal the final form for the K'tav Ivri?
The final form of certain things were not revealed to the Jews because they would be fulfilled after the crucifixion. The New Testament reveals that certain things were sealed and remained a mystery.
An examination of the five letters which had a final form shows that most belonged to the stage of rejection.
Amazingly, one of the mysteries of God is that the Jews would reject Him so that the Gentiles would be saved. Then, at the end of time, He will once again graft the Jews back in and reunite the church.
This time they will not reject Him.
So since the final forms were written at the end of a word and Jesus is the Word of God, I concluded that the IVRI final forms would be revealed at the time of the end.
The final form is contained in the promise of this verse.
The Crucified Christ Lifted Up.
And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.
(John 12: 32)
» The Final Form of the K'tav Ivri.
In most of the letters of the K'tav Ashuri, the difference between the two forms is that final form seems to straighten the base, making the letter stand up.
If so, since all letters of the K'tav Ivri stand up, then the K'tav Ivri has always been in their final form and could have been used to carve the words of the original Ten Commandments.
Kaf (Open Hand, Arm, Wing).
In the beginning, He opened His hands to be nailed and stretched out his arms on the cross like wings lifted up among the people and they rejected this cursed Messiah.
In the end, this story will finally convict them.
Mem (Water).
In the beginning, they surrounded Him like a raging sea, but in the end He will calm the sea and quiet the fury that has been raging for 2000 years.
Nun (Fish).
In the beginning, He threw His fishing net on one side of the boat and caught nothing.
In the end, He will throw His net on the other side of the boat where the fish are waiting to be caught.
Pe (Mouth, Word).
In the beginning He was silent because nobody wanted to hear Him.
In the end, the Word of the Gospel will be spread like a net and preached to the whole world, and then His sheep will finally hear His voice and they will come because they want to be caught.
Tzadi (Fish Hook, Harvest).
In the beginning, He caught no fish and He sent His disciples out as fishermen. They caught mostly Gentiles.
In the end, He will use His fish hook and special bait and catch the greatest harvest of fish ever seen, including the Jews.
When the fish stand up they become the harvest of standing grain ready to be reaped.
Mystery.
So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, "Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?"
He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority;
Witnesses. but your will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."
(Acts 1: 6-8)
» The History of the World.
The history of the world is symbolized as the wicked in the raging sea, tossing and foaming.
In that sea are the fish, the righteous that God wants to catch.
So God hires workmen who spread the great net and follow the instructions of the Lord about where to cast that net.
In the sea is also the great dragon, the coiled serpent that scares away the fish.
- Legend: The Floating Center (Rapture).
The Samekh and the final Mem are the only two letters that are closed in K'tav Ashuri.
The Talmud says that the unsupported center of the Samekh and the final Mem miraculously floated when the Ten Commandments were carved all the way through the tablets.
Since the K'tav Ivri does not have any final form and these two letters do not have a center, then the Jews believe it could not be the script of the original Torah.
Only one event represents floating, and that is the rapture to heaven.
When the law or Torah or Ten Commandments are written permanently in our hearts by the Holy Spirit as the covenant promises, we will be ready to ascend to heaven (float).

Samekh (Support).
Christ was first lifted up to the heavens on the cross between two thieves and then He was raptured to heaven two days after and ascended again about 40 days later while His disciples watched.
He is supporting us from heaven as our High Priest.
He was the only righteous Jew who had the law written on His heart so that He could ascended to heaven before the final form at the end of time.
This is how the Samekh in the center of two thieves and in the middle of the throng of disciples floated.
» Standing Support. At the end of time, Michael will stand up (Daniel 12: 1).

Final Mem (Water).
All the righteous will ascend to heaven at the end of time. There, they are described as walking on the Sea of Glass (Revelation 15: 2). Remember that water is a symbol for many people.
This is how the final Mem (water) is finally floating as they stand before the throne of God.
» Standing Water. The final form stands up. How did God make water stand up? When He parted the Red Sea during the exodus, the water stood up in great heaps on each side (Exodus 14: 27-29).
So the mystery of the floating center might have been the section that was actually carved out to make the letter float, while the other letters did not float when carved through.
» The Floating Samekh on the Mem.
The floating support on the water is a picture of the ark floating on the turbulent sea with its precious cargo held securely inside.
So what they saw were the symbols of Christ drawing the world to Him in the end of days.
A floating Jesus on floating water is a representation of the crucifixion and the rapture.
Jesus becomes the Ark of the Covenant for the people who want to be rescued.
- A Healing Serpent on The Cross. He is the one seen as evil who will heal us when we look up at Him.
The Serpent On A Cross.
As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up.
(John 3: 14)
- A Crucified Christ on The Cross. Jesus is on the cross floating above the people.
Christ Is Lifted Up.
And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.
(John 12: 32)
- Christ Raptured. Jesus floated on a cloud above the disciples on His last day on earth.
The Resurrected Christ Leaves on the Cloud.
After He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
(Acts 1: 9)
- The Second Coming of Christ. At the end of time He is floating on the cloud in the air above the earth.
Christ The King Returns on The Cloud.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air.
(1 Thessalonians 4: 16,17)
» Covenant Signs
These important signs seem to be made from objects of light floating on water.
- The Ark on the Sea. God supported the ark while it was tossing on the sea.
- The Rainbow on the Cloud. This was Noah's sign (Genesis 9: 12-16).
- Israel on the Red Sea. God supported Israel as they crossed the sea.
- The Tau Cross Above The Raging Sea of Sinners. A sign that sinners had been ransomed.
- Jesus Ascends to Heaven on A Cloud. A sign that He will return for us in the same manner (Acts 1: 9).
- The Righteous on the Sea of Glass. The rapture at the end of time.
- The Floating Samekh on the Mem. We will float when the law has been written in our hearts.
The Feast of Tabernacles
This prophecy was about God coming to tabernacle with men to bring peace.
During this seven day feast, 70 bulls were sacrificed.
Starting with thirteen bulls, each day one less bull was sacrificed until only seven remained on the seventh day.
Now that I know the meaning of the symbols, the practice called Gematria (adding the numerical value of the letters) shows more insight into the meaning of the sacrifices of this feast.
They predict the last seven days of His life.
Tzadi + Chet (Fish Hook or Harvest, Fence or desire) (98 Lambs - Burnt Offering (Olah)).
Christ was substituted for all of us, the desired harvest. 98 lambs in total symbolized His right to build a chamber to fence us in when He catches us with His fish hook.
14 lambs were offered each day.
He built a net to catch fish from the restless sea.

Yud + Dalet (Work: Door) (14 Rams - Burnt Offering). Two were offered each day. Every day Christ was building the house of God through His words. When this offering was completed, He became the door to that completed house.
Ayin (Eye, Spring) (70 Bulls - Ordination Offering).
At the end of the seven days of ordination, the Lord comes in person to see us (Leviticus 9: 1, 4, 6).
The offerings allow us to see God face to face and live.
There is a prophecy from Zechariah that refers to the coming of the Holy Spirit in the symbols of a fountain springing from an eye or well so that sin can be removed in one day.
» Peace Offering. All the offerings are used to make peace.

Yud + Gimel (Work: Camel, Lift up) (13 Bulls).
On the first day He came riding through the east gates of Jerusalem on a donkey, lifted up and praised as a king in a palm leaf laying welcome that was customary for the Feast of Tabernacles.
Like the camel, the donkey is a beast of burden.

Yud + Bet (Work: Tent, House) (12 Bulls).
Jesus came to rebuild the house of God by first making His tent with us, in our flesh.
On the following days He visited the temple, preaching about the Father.
On this day, He probably cleansed the temple by throwing out the money changers from the temple and symbolically cleansed the twelve tribes.
Now Jesus is building the house where the righteous will live during the millennium.
The righteous nation is the house of God.

Yud + Alef (Work: Ox) (11 Bulls). He carried the burden of our sins like an ox with a yoke.
He incurred the wrath of the priests and they solidified their plans to have Him killed. One of the twelve disciples betrayed Him two days before the feast (Matthew 26: 3).
Yud (Work) (10 Bulls). It is finished. His work to teach Israel for 3.5 years was complete.
On this day the disciples followed a man carrying water and he led them to the upper room where they were to celebrate the seder.
» God's Work is Finished. After this point, the work of the one with the closed hand was done. He had revealed God through His work.
The rest of His work was to satisfy the requirements of Satan.
Tet (Snake, Surround) (9 Bulls). The Satanic forces captured and besieged Him, subjecting Him to an unjust trial and the cruelty of crucifixion while they jeered and mocked Him.
A pit is dug for the wicked. The dragon is cast into the bottomless pit (abyss).
Ezekiel Chapter 43 says that 49 bulls and rams are needed. This number is reached during these events.
So sometime during the Second Coming the imperfect church under the temple of Ezekiel becomes the perfect church.
» Mem + Tet (Water + Snake (Hidden Good)) ("49"). Water is the people and the hidden goodness of Jesus is represented as a snake. We know that this action represents rest from sin for the restless sea.
The Holy Spirit (water) and Jesus Christ (sin bearer) are all we need for cleansing and salvation.
Chet (Fence, Chamber, Separate) (8 Bulls). He was imprisoned, separated and tried. The righteous are fenced in the New Jerusalem, rescued and recreated.
Zayin (Weapon, Cut off) (7 Bulls). He was cut off on the cross, crucified and killed. The wicked are cut off.
Zayin (Weapon, Cut off) (7 Goats - Sin and Guilt Offering) (Chatas and Asham). The sin offering caused Christ to be cut off for our sins, circumcised with a weapon.
Rembering that a beast is the symbol of a power or nation, and if the nations on the first seven days represents the time before the Second Coming and the eighth day represents the nations after He comes, then this is the possible meaning.
- Bulls ("70 and 1"). These are the 70 nations before He comes and there will be only one nation after.
- Rams ("14 and 1"). A ram is a symbol of Israel or the people of God. There are 14 tribes (12 sons and 2 grandsons) and afterwards there is only one nation of priests.
- Goat ("7 and 1"). The goat is a symbol of Satan and his people. Before the Second Coming there is a beast with seven heads or a series of seven powers that do the will of Satan.
At the Third Coming there is only Satan, leading the nation of Gog against the nation of Israel.
- Lambs ("98 and 7"). This bleeding lamb is a representation of the sacrifice of Christ applied to the church between the crucifixion and the Second Coming.
98 Nations: Tabernacles In The Time Of Ezekiel.
We teach that Ezekiel's temple is a description of the interaction between Christ as the High priest in the heavenly sanctuary and His imperfect church on earth.
If He gave the offerings for tabernacles at the crucifixion, then we will have a change in Ezekiel to represent that we have moved forward in time since the first day of the offering.
Passover.
... he shall provide for himself and all the people of the land a bull for a sin offering.
... during the seven days he shall provide as a burnt offering seven bulls and seven rams ... and a male goat daily for a sin offering.
Tabernacles. In the seventh month on the fifteenth day of the month, at the feast he shall provide like this, seven days for the sin offering, the burnt offering, the grain offering and the oil.
(Ezekiel 45: 12-13)
Ezekiel represents the burnt offering of 98 lambs as 49 bulls and 49 rams. There are still seven goats in this time because the seven headed beast is still alive.
Who are these 98 nations? They are the people who make petitions to the High Priest.
After the crucifixion Jesus combined the two groups of Israel and Gentiles into one group.
So they are probably the 70 nations, 24 elders and 4 living creatures who come before the throne with prayers (Revelation 5: 8, 11).
But it is probably the sacrifice for the seven churches during this period. Each church has one lamb for each of the 14 tribes.
Special Words And Numbers.
Can we gain additional information for important concepts by looking purely at the meaning of the letters used?
-
The Name of God
(YHVH) Yod-Hei-Vav-Hei.
I Am Sending You, Deliverer.
Therefore, come now, and I will send you to Pharaoh, so that you may bring My people, the sons of Israel, out of Egypt.
Who Are You?
Then Moses said to God, Behold I am going to the sons of Israel, and I will say to them, "The God of your fathers has sent me to you". Now they may say to me, "What is His name?" What shall I say to them?
I AM.
God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM [YHVH]"; and He said, Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, "I AM [HAYAH]" has sent me to you.
(Genesis 3: 10, 13-14)
This is the name of God that He gave to Moses by which He would deliver them. We translate it as, "I Am, that I Am", giving the meaning that God is eternal or ever existing because everything is always the present tense to Him.
This is the same meaning according to the Jews. This word is related to the Hebrew root Hei-Yod-Hei (to be), and reflects the fact that God's existence is eternal.
It is frequently shortened to Yah (Yod-Hei), Yahu or Yeho (Yod-Hei-Vav).
In scripture, this Name is used when discussing God's relation with human beings, and when emphasizing his qualities of lovingkindness and mercy (Judaism 101).
The Name of Salvation (Closed Hand Reveals Nail Reveals) My Name.
Ignoring the root words and going strictly by the meaning of the letters used to derive the name, we find that God refers to the name that would save Israel as
"The closed hand that reveals a nail reveals Me".
This is the merciful act of God that actually saved us from death when He allowed Himself to be nailed to a cross through His hands and feet as our substitute.
This name reveals the act of Jesus Christ. He is the One who reveals God.
» A Permanent Sign (The Power of Love).
God hides His power in His hands according to the scriptures.
His splendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand, where his power was hidden.
(Habakkuk 3: 4)
They also seem to suggest that the marks of the nail prints will be a permanent reminder of what He has done.
Powerful Hands.
... Unless I see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hands into his side, I will not believe.
Then He said to Thomas, "Reach here with your finger, and see My hands, and reach here your hand, and put it into My side, and do not be unbelieving but believing.
(John 20: 25, 27)
-

Israel
(Lamed Alef Dalet Shin Yod)
(Closed Hand Teeth Door Ox Staff)
Israel means "Prince of God".
As the Prince, He is the one with the closed hand that hides His power.
He is the teeth of the lion and the door to heaven.
He is the ox sent from heaven and the staff of power.
- SHEMA (Sign on the Hand). If the sign on the hand can be seen as the Tau, then it is an indirect reference to being nailed to the cross.
-
666
(Sign-Head (Highest)-Pillar-Nail) (400+200+60+6).
The letters that spell this number reveals that when Christ died lifted up and held by nails, He became the head of sinners who caused Him to be nailed.
666
(Consume-Consume-Pillar-Nail) (300+300+60+6).
This reminds us of the request to eat the bread and wine as a sign of the broken body of Jesus Christ.
When viewed as a negative at the crucifixion, it was the people chewing, eating, gnashing and spitting on Jesus.
When viewed as a negative during the mark of the beast it may refer to the doctrine of transsubstantiation where the priests believe that at their command the bread and wine are actually changed into the body and blood of Jesus Christ to be eaten.
-
42
(Water - House) (40+2).
The place of the wicked. The wicked are fenced into a house just as the sea has a boundry.
Even the earth and the ark can be seen as a house for the wicked or a house that protects us from the chaos of the wicked.
Noah and his family are labeled as one of the wicked because they are children of Adam.
The Word Of God.
... For You have magnified your word above all your name.
(Psalm 138: 2)
This is not a coincidence.
It is no accident that Jesus is called "The Word of God".
If I gave you five words to identify a famous story it would be very easy to do.
Some of you would even identify the story with one or two words.
- Little Red Riding Hood. Wolf, grandmother, house, girl, teeth.
- Goldilocks. Bear, bed, hard, soft, girl.
- The Flintstones. Stone age, family, quarry, dinosaur, Fred.
- Hansel and Gretel. House, gingerbread, eat, children, witch.
- Alladin (The Arabian Knights). Genie, magic, lamp, sesame, carpet.
- The Wizard of Oz. Scarecrow, lion, tin man, girl, witch.
- Jesus Christ. Cross, nail, Covenant, hand, snake, cut off.
In this script God has given the world 22 words and one universal sign to identify the story of His special Son.
Study to show yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
